''I've been living in a tent for weeks now, paying $7 a day. . . . Do you really think money means anything to me?'' he said. ``I lost everything, and that's when I realized how much I love to play the game.''

    huh???

I'll bet dollars the reinstatement talk was just an attempt to get him off the hook for the $8 million signing bonus he'll have to pay back.

I'm not about to start a new thread on this nonsense ~ this is the first that came up in search...

I'm not sure why, but I would like him to come back and clear his name (a little at least).

Williams must still serve suspension if he returns

Steinberg told the Palm Beach Post on Friday that Williams "absolutely" plans to rejoin the Dolphins after retiring before last season. "Ricky's made the decision he wants to play again," Steinberg told the paper.

why do you all care....its his life...and he can do anything he wants to do with it....i guess that also gives you the right to say anything you want as well....though for me business is cruel....unless you are really talented nobody actually gives a sh-t....if he was a scrub who was walking a thin line into the NFL then nobody would have given a crap if he left the way he did.....

In that case, why does anyone get upset when the Rockets lose? If everybody viewed sports as something unimportant, there wouldn't be sports to begin with.

As for Ricky, it's hard to badmouth him considering the social anxiety disorder and the fact that he's going to school. Otherwise, his ass would be fair game.
