Todd HALEY took the play calling from Weis in the 2nd half. and I agree that he should have ran Charles more in the 2nd half, but Cassel to Bowe worked well during the regular season and they were down. the Charles stats you're using aren't solid evidence of a winning strategy either as it includes one 40 yard blast. Kansas City wasn't going to win that game. Had nothing to do with Haley. They are too young and not ready for that kind of pounding. A few more pieces and a few more beatdowns like that will serve KC well in the future. also agree with Donny. Ravens bout to be exposed.
Football players get hurt every football game... gosh NFL is turning its fans into major wusses with this whole hitting too hard rulebook.
It is poor form to lower your head and/or lead with it; see what you hit. Don't mistake the basics of football for "wussification".
No excuse whatsoever for that to happen. I was thinking the same thing as Suggs even before he picked the ball up. Steelers can only blame themselves. To me, it was VERY obvious the whistle hadn't blown.
No way the Steelers can come back from this. They are dead. Their chance to win would have been the Ravens making mistakes, but it's the other way around. After the opening possession, the Ravens defense has locked in. Kind of like they did to the Titans in 2000. Just isn't their year.
