Criminal charges against Cable could lead to a suspension by the league. “Everybody is trying to figure out who’s going to take over if Tom isn’t here,” said an assistant coach, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “John Marshall has a lot of experience, he’s probably the guy. But it’s nuts. It’s crazy when you start to really think about it.”

Hmm, I saw the PFT tweet that Young was 3rd on depth chart and I posted the the link without reading the whole story, PFT headline didn't mention it. Oh well, my mistake... and not a Texans fan or a VY hater, so don't drag me into this... I'm an unbiased source, gave my opinion already. He looked awful in preseason, lacks maturity, etc. Hell of a ball player though, I'd like to see him turn it around and do well. Oh and that Cable thing is hilarious. Just when I thought Al Davis couldn't possibly find a more unqualified coach than Lane Kiffin, he suddenly decides to go with a guy who has never even held a coordinator position in his coaching career in the NFL, and on top of that... he's calling the plays and he apparently has anger issues. Who is his next hire going to be? Dennis Miller? Raiders are a joke that is so sad it almost isn't even funny.
What choice does he have? I think that is why Kiffin and Cable were selected, no respected or up and coming coach wants to take on that mess.

that team in Oakland will probably fire Cable in a week anyway after they lose to the Giants 63 nil. Then they'll promote some fossil like John Marshall who will try to preach defense and the defense will play better for a week or two, they might even eek out a win against some other horrid team... but the offense will continue to be the worst in NFL history and it will be more egg on Al's ghoulish face. I wish they wouldn't have beat Kansas City, maybe 0-16 and a team clearly worse than last year's Lions would have made Al off himself. Oh well, btw was at the game yesterday and most of the Raider fans there did look like they were out of jail. Bunch of morons mostly. A couple old-schoolers with Plunkett jerseys on. I had a nice conversation with the older Texans fans sitting next to me, and a Patriots fan sitting with them. I told him don't bring up the tuck rule and we'll be fine.

I would say Tmac is similar to McNabb (except for the playoff success). Dude is good, when he's not hurt.
Raiders aren't that bad.. it's just Jamarcus suckness is contagious. I can't think of anything worse than watching Mendenhall completely destroy your defense while Rivers is on the other side spilling his guts out along with Gates. Last night I almost broke my TV.
