It is a big deal. He embarrassed commissar goodell, when the commissar believed in him and gave him another chance. Mr. Pacman is lucky he is only being removed from the nfl.

Train wreck is right...but it was a low risk move as I thought he would f' up but didn't think it would happen so soon...We still have a decent secondary and guys will just have to step up...

Of all the injuries, McBriar is huge...Felix and Romo will be back...Hurd, he's gone for the season as well...Roy is coming back but he's too much of a liability...Newman won't be back for a while...

Do you hear the sound of a toliet flushing...I do...

Cowboys did just trade for the other Roy Williams though.

Eh, all teams have injuries, and its too early in the season to start flushing toilets. Romo will miss 3 games, Hurd is gone, but Austin has been good, and now they've just aquired Roy Williams (rec), Felix Jones only misses a couple games, Roy Williams (DB) MAY be back this week.

Pacman was a gamble anyways. He may or may not be back in a few games, the big hurt is having Newman out. I think he's been the biggest factor so far in the defensive lapses they've faced. He's a top tier CB and can really help out the total defense, and it'll be at least 6 weeks before he can return apparently.

McBriar is also sucky. Punters are more important than people realize, and he's a good one. Although he has been inconsistent so far this year.

From what I've seen, sports hernias usually take longer than 6 weeks to come back from (McNabb, Smith, Curtis).

Newman hasn't been healthy all year and I doubt we see him healthy for the rest of the season.

Pacman is an idiot and IMO should be cut to send a message to the team. I doubt JJ will do it but I bet he's thinking about it.

The McBriar injury is going to hurt the team because he's a great punter who could really take the pressure off if Johnson can't move the chains. Good punters aren't easy to come by 6 weeks into the season.

What message would that send? JJ signed 2 of the 3 most troubled players in the NFL within the last year, the message has already been sent, he'll take anybody no matter who they are or what issues they have.

I don't know. Was it just an argument because the reports seemed to say it was a scuffles or confrontation. Jones is an idiot for even putting himself in this situation and I don't feel sorry for a bit that he is getting punished. He knew what he had to do and what he couldn't do and still failed.

I hear HOLLYWOOD is going to give Adam Jones a second chance after this gem of an acting job. ;)

Actually Jerry has basically cut him already. The suspension as we know is technically indefinite so there's a chance Goodell won't let Pacman return after the suspension. Jerry doesn't have to pay him a dime during the suspension so there's no need to go around officially cutting him yet. What Jerry did was fire the bodyguards- Tommy and em, that basically lets you know that Jerry has given up on Pacman. If there was ever a time Pacman would need babysitting, it would be right now while he is suspended and can't even practice. With no security protection from the Cowboys, Pacman will more than likely get up to more stuff -perhaps more jivin', and will get officially banned from the league. Jerry has all but given up on Pacman.

Word is Tommy the bodyguard wanted Pacman to leave the Joule Hotel-party as he felt it was time to go, but Pacman didn't want to leave. They got in a verbal argument which led to some fisticuffs and Tommy apparently whooping Pacman who then hit the 'vanity' which broke.

    That's the word around town.

What would YOU do if your kiddos in your soccer teams do something "silly" outside the team... say rob a store or, much less, get into an argument with their mom or dad or both outside the field and you noticed how the kid behaved... would you still continue to let them play the same amount of time and in the same role in your team? :( I wouldn't... it's a punishment for the behavior... I would give that kid and the parents a good talk to see how they would learn or react.

I agree fully. I am no way condoning what Pacman did....but where is the actual crime in this? Have any charges been filed by anyone? I don't like how the commissioner has the power to end guys seasons all willy nilly, if he chooses.

Again, I blame Pac for putting himself in the situation to get screwed, but I don't like the commissioner having that power. How can he justify that he uses it fairly? This dude gets suspended for getting in a fight, yet it's dudes still playing who beat on their wives (i.e. Ron Artest..diff league but NFL players do it to). He is gone but dudes who get DUI's are still playing? Matt Jones got caught lining coke. MATT JONES GOT CAUGHT LINING COKE!!!! He hasn't missed one game this season.

    That is bs........
