It seems like just yesterday we took some 19 year old Nigerian kid over perennial stud Patrick Willis. Oh Texans...

Hindsight is 20/20. Texans had Demeco Ryans coming off DROY campaign. They should have taken Revis.

Heard this on Palillo while driving home yesterday. Good points.

He said Willis though. So it's not 20/20.

That's just weird. Bradford doesn't strike me as suited for a Chip Kelly offense at all. At least historically, he's always run with a semi-mobile type QB to add more options for misdirection and confusion. Non-mobile QB + torn ACL doesn't seem ideal.

Potential trade chip for draft day or at worst backup or cut.

Can't see him being a backup. Bradford is paid a fortune this year ($16MM), and after all the effort the Eagles took to free up salary cap space, it seems like starter-or-nothing for him.

Ngata and 7th for a 4th and 5th round 2015 picks; I know Ngata is almost past his prime, but those picks barely scratch the surface.

How much of that money actually goes to the Eagles though?

When you trade a player, the guaranteed money stays on the original team's cap (dead money) just like a release unless they changed that.
