Me. Seriously, if I though Kubiak would return next year, I'd quit on the Texans. If McNair brings him back, fan wrath will be severe. He's a goner IMO.

I think Kubiak's medical situation is the perfect out for McNair this offseason. Can't you just see him turning it around and playing the "we're only firing him for his own health" card?

Best of both worlds for McNair. He can fire Kubiak without any guilty feelings, which he seems to worry so much about.

I like Kubiak, but this is a great time to clean house. Dump Foster, Schaub, and anyone else outside of Watt and give the new coach a clean slate to work with.

This is the only logical conclusion.

Yeah I could see that if McNair wants a lawsuit on his hands.

Why? Kubiaks contract is guaranteed. How much more money could be be sued for?

I think Kubiak is a quality coach, even with his obvious flaws/issues, but I think it is time to bring in new blood.

I don't think Rick should be given a pass either but it may be easier to only focus on hiring a coach at this point.

Well we all know whats next in the off season. Bring in all cast-off Denver and Dallas players and let the championships begin
