    No we're not...

The young secondary has to start growing up a little more quickly. To me, that's our only concern.

    Skill players? check
Offensive line? check (though it's an "adequate" check, not great)
    Pass rush? check
LB corps? check (epecially starting on October 10th)

Other than Pollard though, the secondary isn't carrying it's load.

True, but you don't have to be elite these days to win games in the playoffs.

I can TOTALLY see why the Bucs are ahead of the Texans. They did beat the Browns and Panthers. All we've done is beat the Skins and the lowly Colts.

"Johnson’s 14 career 10-catch, 100-yard games is the second-most in NFL history, one shy of Hall of Famer Jerry Rice’s total of 15"

The Texans start is impressive, but let's remember they barely squeeked by Washington. It's still very early.

the colts gave up 240 yards rushing on us, does that make them not an elite team..?

the redskins allowed more passing yards then we did, and although i don't think they will be a playoff team this year, i think their defense is proven..

the only thing thats going to make us an elite team, is consistency in the long run.. every dog has their day in this league sometimes you get lucky and have a little streak..

We are playing like an elite team, but until we make the playoffs no one will see us as one. which we will this year.

Yeah, I can feel it as well. They may be 2-0 but their defensive shortcomings will prove to be their undoing.

It's amazing to me that the Texans can be so dominant against the run and so terrible against the pass. I am really hoping Cushing, he of the 5 sacks and 5 interceptions last year can both help our coverage and pass rush. Also we are due for a few takeaways after only having 1 so far.

TEs have been running roughshod over the Texans defense, and hopefully Cush can help with that.
