they were better than the Titans. watching that game, i felt very clearly that the better team lost.

The Texans are really talented, they just play down to the level of their competition, David Carr said so.

I meant Charles Rogers, but I knew one of their WRs got released.

Exactly...it's amazing that the Titans have a better record than us with their talent. A 5 year QB and 2 pro-bowl WRs should be worlds better than a rookie QB and Bobby Wade/Drew Bennett.

c'mon, that was too easy to say the Texans...however, in addition to them, I would say Oakland and the Lions...

The Texans have talent, they lack team work and inspiration.

I think the Lions and Cards get the least out of their talent. Both have a lot more than the Browns, Texans, Titans.

The Raiders have some talent, Moss, Jordan, Porter, not to mention a lot more defensive talent than the others.

The Titans are getting more with less. A rook QB (though I think he is extremely talented, he still just is a rook), a good group of RBs and a playmaking KR/CB. Outside of that they have little talent on both sides of the ball--probably the least threating group of receivers one can put on the field (esp. given injuries) and probably the least threatening defense overall.

I still voted for Cleveland though. They are another overachieving group without much talent.

Who is so terribly talented on the Texans?

I count the following: Robinson, Johnson, Williams, Ryans.

Who am I missing? You could argue Moulds, but he's older and probably not a very good fit. Not much on the OL and our RBs are terrible. I know that's all David Carr's fault, but still. Weaver's good on the DL, but the others are terrible. Babin's been a complete bust and Peek, while somewhat talented, never plays. The rest of our linebackers and secondary probably wouldn't even sniff the field for other teams.

Off the top of my head: Droughns (who's not having a good year, but better than any back we have), Edwards, McGinest, Washington, Winslow, Andruzzi, Wimbley, and Andra Davis are pretty talented.

I an not going to split hairs. The Texans, Titans and Browns all really suck in terms of NFL talent. All have just a handfull of players on either side of the ball that would start on decent teams.

The underachieving teams are Detroit, Oak and AZ. But in Oakland's defense they have have the toughest divisional opponents in the league and are playing competitive lately, and AZ had some tough breaks in games they should have won. But Detroit flat out shows no fight far too often despite getting more than their fair share of medicore or weak opponents.
