First of all, this is a pro sports team IN NEW YORK. Those guys can't wait til the next showing of Torch Song Trilogy. This was just a thinly-veiled attempt to show the world the Jets have a big case of the Not-Gays. Also, the lack of pictures in this thread makes me a very sad panda.
She's nothing special from the front....so the only pics worth posting are from the back and they all seem to be the same.. the weird thing is she obviously likes showing her behind off, in pants...for some reason there's literally no pics of her behind in a bikini, but many from the front. That's very odd, considering her ass is her best feature. Maybe she had work done and doesnt want it noticed..
Maybe you should apply for a job with PerezHilton and continue your speculation there. Intriguing stuff.
After watching that interview I really don't think it's really much of an issue. Personally, I think she saw an oppurtunity to get some spotlight attention and she ran with it. If she's been covering sports as long as she says she has, I find it hard to believe that she's never run into this sort of thing before or that it would surprise her. P.S. That face and voice are about as shrill as they come.
when you're THAT hot, you're going to get attention. did she think she was going into a locker room full of gay dudes? just a hot blonde chick wanting to advance her career.
What we have here is a classic case of men are from Mars and women are from Venus. Here is another "personal" observation I'm making: you are hardwired to look for logic in each and every situation you come across, so you can validate your existence. Similar to religious nuts. It is your assumption that a girl in tight clothes is actually down for hooking up with you and your mean street posse, so making a parallel to a wallet lying in the street is an irrelevant comparison. That is a sure thing. This isn't. Like I said before, you're holding females to the same standards as men and this just isn't conducive to reality because biologically and mentally they aren't constructed the same way as you. To make an analogy of my own, it's like expecting a wealthy couple living in the French Riviera to have the same thought process as an impoverished couple living in Kenya and justifying it by saying "they're all warm blooded mammals"! In theory you can always find a way to look for an excuse, but it's just not conducive to reality. If you talk to anyone from more liberal societies in Europe or Australia, they would treat these situation in a pretty dismissive manner. Don't let the conservative American media, tell you, how to think or feel!
I think the media is making a bigger deal out of this than the reporter. I don't think she's actually filed charges or anything.
I do agree that this has actually helped her career and this whole thing has been kind of overblown, but that doesn't excuse the Jets for what allegedly occurred. Just because she's hot doesn't make it okay for them to act inappropriately towards her.
Clinton Portis probably should've kept his mouth shut. Anyway she did want somebody in the locker room. She wanted Mark Sanchez for an interview.
It just occurred to me that this is the rational behind why some cultures make women wear burkhas. I don't agree with that but the argument that men just can't control themselves around attractive women is why some cultures say women need to be covered up completely in public.
Its really simple. The Jets acted out of line. They KNOW how to act better than what they did. So deal with the situation having them apologize and change their behavior for future reporters, which is QUITE possible. And its a settled situation. My coaches in high school didnt like when we played "grab-ass" around the cheerleaders. Coaches yelled at us about it, and we stopped.
Like I said, athletes ARE ABLE to handle themselves around women. Especially professionally dressed women .... <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DdDGYsYXHKc?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DdDGYsYXHKc?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
Wow, when you're not chastizing black college students and professionals for networking with each other, you're bizarrely insightful.
This is also the same guy who openly made insensitive and extremely immature (even by CF's standards) comments about that NBA player who was ultimately found dead (yet somehow people are still adamant about defending the plain non-nonchalant right of doing so in spite of the circumstances)
I'm sure most of these guys are well behaved when not engrossed in hyper competitive dominance oriented activities. It is not an excuse, but there is such a thing as group mentality.
