^ OMG!!! WOW!!!! Look at that photo...!!! My GOSH!!! SHE LOOKS LIKE A PROSTITUTE!!!! SHOWING ALL THAT BUTT AND THOSE JEANS WERE SO TIGHT!!!! JEEZ, yes, she deserved that... You must be out of your mind, sir. What, that's the only photo you have?? You posted a link to a story or a report, but she's not showing anything that called for the JETS to be unprofessional. Show other photos, please. In post #57 I quote her as saying "[she was] not offended". I don't believe it was her who reported their catcalls and howling, and stuff...
I have one. How angry does it make you that she does a better job of filling out those skinny jeans than your gf ever could? That is, if your gf even whores herself up by wearing blue jeans and a white blouse in public. Scandaloussss.
wrong picture dumba$$...its the one below where her jeans are painted into her a$$crack....she asked for it
You didn't see that I corrected the post? nice personal attack...usually a sign of waving the white flag...anyway...
Very interesting read. Thanks. It's not an attack silly rabbit, I'm just using your method of reasoning. Girls with nice butts shouldn't be allowed to wear jeans, unless they enjoy sleeping around. And voluptuous damsels should only be allowed to wear turtlenecks, lest they claim merryment upon a jousting knight's stick. Same era.
Fixed. I didn't see that quoted part of the post (yeah, the big one in the middle of the page ). I guess I'm amazed it's gotten this much notice if she really had no problem with what happened. I had no problem with them (jetsjetsjets) needing to show more respect in a professional environment and said as much. I also thought the original pix in the beginning of the thread were what she was wearing... not that the "released" pic is actually from the day in question, but, still... misunderstood that as well. I would say that as i stated before, perhaps this incident isn't one that the Association of Women in Sports Media should be focusing in on, but it really depends which of these outfits she was closer to wearing. Overall, especially in light of my misconception, it's a bit disappointing in that I can't believe I've thought about it as long as I have, as little as that may be.
Apparently she is going to be on CNN's Joy Behar Show tonight to discuss her side of the story. I also read where she said it was no big deal to her, she was taken a back by the comments but wasn't overly offended. I think she knew what she was getting into and wasn't a big deal but once again twitter makes this out to be a bigger story then it needs to be. Twitter is awesome but when your limited to 140 characters A LOT tends to be left out.
She has accomplished exactly what she wanted. She got attention and lots of people who had no idea who she was before now know who she is. The whole thing is stupid.
So... she was a... [prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr (drum rolling Michael Scott) prrrrrrr...] Master... [prrrrrrr] (gathers breath)[prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr] Baiter? The J-E-T-S and their coaching staff were... D-U-M-B for falling for it?
jets were wrong for not being professional enough to hold back...BUT there's a difference between dressing professionally and still being sexy because you can't help it, and dressing as provocatively as possible while just reaching professionalism as well. Google Erin andrews and google this chick. That's the difference. She's not some little girl that is just coming out of high school...she's a grown woman who knows how the world (men included) work. Therefore, she should hold back some herself because, if it wasn't the Jets today, it would have been another team tomorrow.
This is a professional organization, the players and especially the coaches should act like it. She was probably dressed a little inappropriately, but that's not an excuse for a bunch of grown men to start acting like a bunch of horny 13-year old kids. Just put this in a corporate setting. If you were the owner of a company, would you allow your employees to act like that at anytime? I sure wouldn't.
just looked up her tweets and they're in spanish, definitely seems like she was trying to be dramatic about it, although i'm not sure she was trying to stir things up... I think she could have been complaining about nakedness and profanity more than anything, or at least to begin with, which is typical in the lockerroom. "I'm dying from the uncomfortableness. I'm trying not to look in any direction, while in the Jets' locker room waiting for Mark sanchez!!" "only because it's the only way to interview him prior to the game, but there's too many masculine hormones in this environment!!" "im sorry, but i wouldnt take a picture of this, even as a joke. I don't even look around. I only look at Mark's locker and i wish i could cover my ears!!" "some of the media were sure that i was dressed inappropriately with the Jets, but i was exactly like this (links to pic of white shirt w/jeans)!!" "thanks to everyone for your worry and support. I already declared before the League (NFL) and it's up to them to decide if there will be consequences or not!!"
oops, forgot the last two: "what i can tell you all is that at the moment i didnt want to take it into account and didnt pay attention to it..." "but the other media there heard it with clarity and as an expression of solidarity decided to report it, hoping there will always be a respectful ambient.
This is interesting . . because when cops beat down some dude who 'looks like a thug' We seem to be ok with that. but CatCalling a chick that looks 'like a prostitute' well that is a crime against God and Country I feel it now. . . i am down! She can walk into the Locker room half naked and Dudes can let their pants sag to the ground everywhere they go and all this is fine in 'professional' environments I got it now Rocket River
