Only person worth taking over HUff at #7 is Hawk, and I think he'll be gone by then. Both Greenway and Kiwanuka are mid-1st Rounders at best, Huff is a Top 10 pick in every mock draft that has come out so far. You have to account for the fact that there may not be an offensive player worth taking at #7. DeAngelo Williams, Vernand Davis, L. White will most likely all be available, but picking one of these guys at #7 might be a little too high. Another weapon that will most likely be available is Santonio Holmes, but he is another projected mid-rounder who is a little on the short side. I agree that the 49ers should get some weapons for Alex Smith, but this year's draft may not be the place to do it. The 49ers could use a DB whether it be a safety or corner, Huff is the premier DB in this year's draft and is capable of playing either position.
The only thing bad about AJ Hawk going to the NFL is that we won't get to hear Musberger say, "And it's Aaaa Jaaay Hawk again with the tackle."
The 49ers might take Huff on draft day but it will be a huge mistake. DeAngelo Williams or Davis should be the choice. I like Griffin for the NFL better than Huff.
I guess it all depends on what position the 49ers need to fill. They could use a RB but DeAngelo at #7 might be a little too high, White might be a better pick. Davis would be a pretty good pick if they need a TE. I like Griffin for the NFL as well, I think he'll be a steal somewhere in the late 2nd or early 3rd. But there is a reason why Huff was the Thorpe winner, he was unbelievable this season. He is almost unbeatable on coverage, a sure tackler, and had no problem covering the opponent's best player and limiting him (Ginn, Bush, etc...).
