Knucklehead? No. The Raiders haven't drafted a player with character issues in the first round in a long time RR, so get your head out of your ass and maybe actually know something about a football team before you go making useless accusations. Talent issues? Work-ethic issues? Sure. But I'm baffled by people who still think of the Raiders as a team that look for trouble-makers in the draft because the evidence is too obvious to the contrary.
Damn it moes, repost that article about players up for trade so I can repost my post to that post... post...
Did you hear about that DE from from South Florida (Pierre?) who did backflips across the entire field? Just the kind of acrobatics that Al Davis loves.
Pierre-Paul is a workout warrior but I doubt the Raiders even have him on their draft board because he doesn't fit a need. They already have Trevor Scott who is a hybrid DE/LB, and traded for Kamerion Wimbley and Quinton Groves in the offseason to go along with the incumbents Thomas Howard, Kirk Morrison, and Ricky Brown.
They really need to cut the time a team has to make a decision. After all the pro days, combine, work outs, etc. and all the days in between to do planning and analyzing, I'd say 5 minutes per pick is good enough.
Yeah, Roseman is aggressive too and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them salvage some of those 7 picks in the first four rounds (More than any other team) to get up and get him. I think the fifth pick on the second day is a golden ticket for the Eagles though.
The draft is too much of a toss up to give teams only 5 minutes. Besides trades (and the corresponding smoke screen counter-trades), there are a lot of things that can affect the way teams draft. A big one is position runs. If the Texans don't draft secondary in the first round and there's a big run on CB's before their second pick, they'll want more time to decide to get in on the run or not. The only pick I think it's silly to give the full 15min to is the #1 pick. They've had months to make their move.
You act like people care enough about the Raiders to wade into that mire of crap to investigate their "talent" pool.
Ok, whatever I'm through talking to you peons with your ignorant minds about the Raiders, all you can muster up is "DUR DUR AL DAVIZ GONNA DRAFT FAST PLAYUR" and it gets old. Judging by all the replies in this thread, it seems a lot of people care, or else they wouldn't feel the need to comment.

Mort from ESPN just said the Eggles are trying to jump from #24 to #12. Also they're trying to trade the pick they got from the Skins.
LOL. What do you expect them to say when the Raiders have barely had 1 pick in 4 years amount to anything, and not one single player over the last decade that has lived up to the hype? Especially after taking freaking Darrius Heyward Bey last year. Are we supposed to say this... 'I think the Raiders are going to turn things around and finally find someone legitimate in the draft. They haven't won more than 5 games since 2002, but there is no reason to doubt their ability to draft anymore'.
