    I hate hate hate that the Titans and Colts both got premier pass rushers.

    How do you neutralize aggressive pass rushers?

    Run the ball.

    Agree 100%. I was just thinking when the Patriots were on the clock about how I would have to root for the team who drafts him, but then freaking Indy took him. Damn you, Indianapolis

    As one of the few Broncos fans on this board, I guess I should comment on last night:

    I don't know whether to laugh or cry to be honest with you - I had little doubt that McDaniels would draft Tebow mainly because Tebow is someone that I don't like. It is not like I was completely against him getting rid of Cutler and then later Marshall, but I am not sold that what he got back for either one of those dudes was enough. And with Tebow, you have a guy that was being predicted to be picked sometime in the 2nd round. Did Josh really feel the need to trade that many picks to get the right to pick at #25? Seems like he was desperate and overreached here.

    I like the WR pick and from what I have read (what little I have read), this kid from GT could be the best or at least top 3 WRs in the draft. But I am not sold on Tebow - my theory is that McDaniels has taken the credit in making Brady and Matt Cassel into legit NFL QBs and now Tebow is his pet project. The only question I have left is this - is McDaniels going to be around long enough to see any positive results? I am guessing probably not. Sucks to be a Broncos fan right now. :(

    Tebow has bust written all over him, but I guess McDaniels got the guy he wanted. Apparently Buffalo was also trying to move up to get him. Dumb and dumber.

    Lots of good talent still on the board for the 2nd round...

    This is the funny bit i got from the NYT draft blog on the Raiders:

    Raiders drafts have gotten a little predictable in the last two decades or so. That’s because Al Davis long ago replaced his scouting department with Deep Black, a mainframe supercomputer with almost 200 megabytes of processing power. Davis programmed Deep Black with drafting software using the most advanced language known to the Raiders: Quick Basic. Here’s the program, as leaked by some guy on Twitter:

    10 REM *********** JUST WIN BABY

    20 INPUT NAME$, FORTYTIME,CHARACTERISSUES

    30 IF FORTYTIME < 4.5 AND CHARACTERISSUES >= 1 THEN DRAFT NAME$

    40 GOTO 10

    Deep Black must be malfunctioning this year, because Davis picked a relatively slow guy who can actually play.

    Berman is an idiot. Man, I wish Time Warner and the NFL would finally come to a resolution.

    Haha.

    Sad but true.

    Most of the Raider nation is dead quiet about the McClain pick. Not a sexy pick, but seems like a sensible one. Kirk Morrison and Thomas Howard were coverage linebackers and good at that, but poor in run support. Oakland his finished near the bottom in rush defense for too many years now, anyone who saw the Giants/Jets against their defense knew that getting some guys who can stop the run had to be a priority.
