Um, did they not play in the wild card game? I could swear they beat the Eagles.

Yes, but they're not a Wild Card team. It was a Wild Card game.

    1) So who has better momentum going to the game: Dallas (winning 4 in a row, and peaking at the right time) or the Vikings that almost lost the #2 seed, and had (or have) problems inside the team.

    2) You dont think the Eagles didnt play at full force in week 17? they could get the #2 seed, be the NFC East champion.

Nothing would please more to see Al Davis somehow find the fountain of youth and never die.

The only contest that has championship consequences is the Colts vs Ravens, hence I will only predict one game.

    Ravens 34 Colts 13

Much like last season's Raven vs Steelers match, the victor will win all of their remaining postseason contests.

The Colts only score 13 points at home? Dude I seriously doubt that but everyone is entitled to their opinion...

To most men and women, my prediction reeks of absurdity. However, look into raj's crystal ball, and witness the truth:

The Ravens dynamic running game is operating at full capacity at this point. The Colts defence, however, is the 24th ranked in rushing. Also kindly note that the defence of Baltimore is healthy, particularly Terrel Suggs and Kelly Gregg on the D-Line for the first time this season.

raj's crystal ball indicates that if the Ravens establish their ground attack early and produce the initial scoring in the 1st quarter, the Colts will become one-dimensional in attempting to recover from a deficit. The Ravens vaunted defence will handle it from that point.

The Colts are one-dimensional when they are leading. Peyton is that offense.

favre is being a p***y sort of. he basically claims that he will be back sitting there next week for the next game (an indirect guarantee). then, he makes a point to come out and say he wasn't guarantee-ing a victory but...what did you expect him to say...he won't be back next week?

come on, favre. just fess up you made a guarantee and quit trying to backtrack. okay...you didn't make a direct guarantee of "we will win" but close enough. it's not like it really matters. both teams are hungry for this game. who knows how it will play out? that is why we play the game. if either team needs bulletin board material for this game, then they have a problem getting motivated for the right reasons.

Kindly note that a pass rush is more effective when the defence is protecting an early lead, as the threat of a rush is diminshed, and the quarterback starts to press. After the quarterback sustains multiple hits, even one like Mr. Manning starts to make errant throws. This does not bode well for the Colts, considering a healthy Ed Reed will be patrolling the defensive backfield on Sunday night.
