Jets are last year's Cardinals but at the same time polar opposites. Both were written off at the start of the Playoffs, however, the Cards did it with a high-flying offense while the Jets are doing it with a dominant defense.
Anyone who thinks Charles Woodson is a better CB than Revis needs to get their head examined. He's unreal.
Quick passes = effective offense... too bad it took them 3.5 quarters to make the adjustment (much like the Texans in week 1).
Jim Caldwell turned the Jets season around. They lost to an eliminated Atlanta in week 15 and were on their deathbed in the first half of week 16 until Peyton and co. came out of the game. Maybe the Colts knew what they were doing after all. Let the Jets into the playoffs and maybe we'll get a layup in the AFC championship game. I'm a big fan of ball control and defense but this team is not super bowl material, and would be damn lucky to get in.
if chargers lose, does turner get fired? isnt that what happened to schottenheimer a few years back? 14 wins and a loss he got fired? HAHAHAHAHA chargers fans the kicker wrath continues!
That one is all on Norv Turner. All on Norv. NFL teams are far, far too conservative in these situations. You know you have to get a touchdown, at some point. Have to. So why would you stop a promising drive that might result in that when all you need is two yards - especially when the field goal is from 40+, aka FAR from automatic?
