Chargers and Norv Turner making the same mistake the Texans made in week 1. The Jets THRIVE on the drop-back passer that is looking for deep routes. To beat them, you have to do quick short routes and mix up the running game well.... and then fool them with play-action.
Only after the Chargers get backed up with a 2nd or 3rd and long. Once they do that, they're pretty much done. The BEST way to beat them is to execute a successful first down play... doesn't have to be a big one, but enough to set up a high-percentage conversion. That throws their defense off the rest of the series. However, if you give them 2nd or 3rd and longs? Forget about it... they will eat you alive.
Man, the Chargers are just not playing well. Crazy that the Jets are leading this game. If the Jets do go on to win from that INT by Rivers, I hope they go on and BEAT Indy....I'm still pissed over the Colts laying down a few weeks ago.
