Surprised more people aren't picking the Ravens to upset the Pats. I certainly am. Ravens have that look about them. Same look as 2 years ago. Suggs will give Brady problems and Flacco excels on the big stage.

I think the other 3 home teams win.

GB vs Dallas should be a helluva game. Glad it's the noon game on Sunday. That's my kid's nap-time!

me too. i want the ravens to win. the cowboys to beat mr. elite with 200 yards rushing from murray and 2 ints from romo just to prove smash mouth football will knock these inflated stats qbs.

secretly hoping for a panthers and ravens superbowl and is a cam newton elite? talk from the pundits after he wins superbowl mvp with 300 yards rushing and 100 passing yards.

I can't see any favorite being upset this year. The Ravens may come close, but that's about it. The next round should be more interesting.

Man I hope the Cowboys lose. ESPN is shameless in their love for this team, the have been in Dallas all week...talking about the Cowboys...all week. You'd think they were talking about the superbowl. They barely talk about anything in the sports world because they must talk about the Cowboys.

I don't think Brady will choke again even though Baltimore looks a lot better with Ngata back. A healthy Gronk just spreads that weak secondary that much more thin.

Indy should be considered a threat to knock-off Denver, but my feeling is that Peyton will find a way to overcome the Colts.

Carolina's crash test dummy offense vs the Seattle D is not a fair fight, Carolina will have to play perfect defense and not turn the ball over to have a chance, but I'm not expecting that to happen.

Dallas vs Green Bay will come down to whether GB can run the ball effectively at all. If they can take pressure off ARod and his gimpy calf, they will win the game. If Rodgers has to put it up on every down I like the Cowboys chances.

    Home teams sweep.

Part of me wants to see Denver/Seattle part 2, the redemptioning.

Although watching Brady try his hand at the Seahawks would b kewl 2.

I hate the Pats and hope they lose, but man...Brady v Manning in the playoffs never gets old. If it happens again, we should enjoy it because both are hitting the twilight of their careers and only have so many matchups left.

Ya. I'm not too ready for them to step aside, because the moment they do... it'll be the Andrew Luck show. *sob*

Manning vs Brady is the NFL's version of Magic vs Bird. Nothing else will be able to live up. Luck doesn't even have anybody who can challenge him in the AFC right now as a young stud QB. The star QB crop will soon widdle down to Rodgers, Luck, and maybe Wilson.

Good points, I just had to give you props for the word 'widdle'.

Although I suspect you meant 'whittle'. I like yours better.

Haha. I'll chalk that up to a case of onomatopoeia typing. My brain is in weekend mode already.

    ESPN picks:

    14/14 pick SEA
    12/14 pick NE
    13/14 pick DEN
    Even split on DAL@GB

I agree SEA & NE are locks.

Based on how Peyton Manning faltered the last 2 games, I think something may be wrong with him and the Colts have a real chance if they avoid killer TOs.

I'm picking Dallas to beat Green Bay, maybe convincingly. I don't think Aaron Rodgers is going to be at his best and the Cowboys O will pummel the Packers D. If the Packers can't pressure Romo, they are in very deep trouble. The game is the Cowboys to lose.

That calf injury looks pretty serious.

Cowboys have a real chance here.

If anybody is going to pull the road upset, it's them.

I think this may be a road warrior weekend...

Carolina doesn't stand a snowball's chance in a Texas summer against Seattle...

But, I think Dallas will take Green Bay. Rodgers is no Flacco in the playoffs.

I think Flacco will continue his playoff magic carpet ride and Baltimore's front 7 will make Brady tap dance.

And in case my fellow Texans fans weren't paying attention last week _ I think Luck will step his game up again and show us we may be playing for 2nd place in the division for the next 10 years or so :(

It would mean so much to me to see Dallas win. I love the Cowboys objectively I still pick GB.

The one encouraging thing is that the pass rush is showing life. If that continues we have a chance. It will be either one extreme or the other with Rogers. He is either seriously hurt or GB is using this to try to trick the Cowboys into preparing for a statue in the pocket.

The packers aren't going to lose a close game at home. Either the cowboys win by at least 13 or they won't win.
