    hahahaha ... Chargers Baby!!!!

I think they have a shot against New England next week (as long as Rivers and LT can play), but once again no one is going to give them a chance in hell to win. I've watched every game this season and this team is far better than they were in Week 2 and if NE expects to see the same team that they saw before, they are in trouble.

I'm calling it right here .. Chargers 27, New England 24

I live in San Diego and I've been defending the Marty firing and the Norv hiring since last summer and I think I might have been the only one in San Diego doing it when the Chargers were 1-3. Man this is going to be sweet to go into work on Monday.

I'll be the first to admit I was wrong! Good call....the turnovers in the red zone killed the Colts, and even when LT and Rivers went down, SD made the plays while Indy couldn't pull it out.

I'll be amazed if they beat the Pats, but that's why they play the games!

I'm shocked Indy lost. They finally got over the hump last year. They played awesome this year for the most part. And then they pull off one of their classic choke jobs yet again. No disrespect to SD, they played their hearts out and they certainly weren't given the game, but this was Indy's game to lose and they blew it.

Dont care, w/e, onto the next game.

hell i'll donate $200 to the tipjar is the chargers beat new england. beating an indy team that gets picked off at the 10, fumbles at the 30, gets picked off at the 2, and gets stopped at the 5 is one thing, beating the TD machine that is the patriots is another.

Great win for the Chargers. It's already an uphill battle with the game being in New England. With injuries to LT and Phillip Rivers it would take a monumental effort by the defense to give them a shot.

Anyone else with Direct tv not getting the Cowboys/Giants game in HD?

I gave the Chargers a chance today. They have virtually no chance against the Pats but you have to play the game. Enjoy this week. I know it must be sweet for you, especially after the 1-3 start.

Marvin Harrison's fumble was a game-changing play. This is a tough one for me to swallow.

The Chargers may have a better shot with Volek starting but they need LT to even have a shot.

    Question:

if the punting team tries to down the ball but fumbles, and then a player from the receiving team touches the ball but never gains control, and the punting team recovers the ball, does the possession go to the punting team?

if so, why did the cowboys player try to swat at the ball on that punt.

Chargers = most underrated team in the league right now only because they had a bad start

If Gates return, I'm picking Chargers over Pats next week.

I know the Patriots blew out the Chargers in Week 2 but that was a different Charger team. Next weeks game will be a lot closer

    Great game by the Chargers.

LOL at everyone thinking San Diego gonna get rolled by New England next week. This, the team that almost got beaten by Baltimore and Philly? If LT, Gates and Rivers all play, SD takes em down to the wire. I've been saying this all playoffs, if San Diego meets New England, San Diego will win with a chip on their shoulders. They played Manning the same exact way Jacksonville *tried* to play Brady save for one thing, that Chargers actually made the plays (2 Int, 1 Fumble) that they were supposed to make. Anyone that thinks that New England destroys San Diego next week needs to open their damn eyes.

Hmm...looks like you have a shot at 4-4. And you would have my total unmitigated support...you know if it didn't involve me having to root for the Cowgirls.

You know how ironic last year SD had it gift wrapped for them and they blew it vs NE. Should have been in the SB last year but, they took it for granted and did not play smart. This year, they're taking the look of the Steelers '05 a few years ago. No one thought SD had a chance even though they have given the Colts fits the last few times they've matched up.

Also remember this, early in the season the Pats rocked the Bolts after that spygate deal came into play. I think SD loves the opportunity to show they are a serious playoff contender but, they better run the football better.

    Rivers impressed today.

How about this SB matchup? GB vs SD. Favre and GB win the SB and Favre finally decides to retire. What a way to end your career potentially. :p

I was wondering why on earth he did that too. Seems to me the only thing he could've accomplished was giving possession back to Dallas.
