All Brady does is win. Manning vs Brady next weekend is going to be awesome, and this time Manning has the home field advantage. I think Brady will pull it out again.

New England beats Indy without doubt in my mind. They kocked out the best team in the NFL today.

They just don't make dumb mistakes like the chargers did, you don't see pats players headbutting after a play, you don't seem them try to pick up a fumbled punt when they should have just fallon the ball.

Not from what I saw today. If New England plays against Indy like they played today, they will lose rather easily.

Last week they were flawless against a tough Jets team....totally shut down that offense and ravaged a very good D.

Brady and gang didn't play well at all this week but still elevated their game when they had to and beat a team many had winning it all.

    The defense won the game.

Remember..THEY ARE A DYNASTY.How do you bet against that?

Patriots vs Saints in the Super Bowl.

Should make for a very entertaining game.

    EXCUSE TIME OVER FOR MANNING.

He has the championship game in his own crib. If he fails to get to the Superbowl this time around....

No, the chargers gave the patriots this game. You can try to rationalize it however you want, but that is what happened. Eric Parker muffs a punt with no one around him, and then the real kicker, Marlon McCree either knocks down the 4th down pass or catches it and immediately gets down/touched. If he does that, game over, chargers win, end of story.

Only for tom brady does a pick that should end a game turn into a fumble recovery second chance that he capitalizes on.

Indy and Patriots....Although I'm a Pats/Brady fan ever since their 1st miraculous SB win, I think they'll go down in Indy. Home-field advantage for Manning; no stand out WR for Brady to go to; the Patriots' running game is suspect. I'd have an easier time thinking that Patriots can pull out another victory over the Colts if they still had Branch and Harrison wasn't injured. But since they have neither, Colts by 10.

Just got back from the Charger game. I hate to say it, but as a former Oiler Fan I certainly am used to this.

The Patriots and Brady did not win this game, the Chargers gave it to them 7 times and on the 8th giveaway the Patriots finally agreed to take it.

    Man this pisses me off.

PS. Marty Must Go .. how do you not have timeouts at the end of the game (especially throwing one away with the challenge)?

The Pats have elite receiver Jabar Gaffney.

exactly. even vince young doesn't have as much stuff out of his control go as perfectly as it does for tom brady. i mean he screws up and throws a bad INT and it just gives him 20 yards of field position.

the chargers coaches did a lot of stupid stuff like going for 4th and 11, not giving the ball to LT on their last drive (you knew they would go 3 and out and NE would get it back for the game-winning fg), playing prevent at the end of the first half to let NE score the TD they had to have, trying a pass on 3rd and 17 from the 28 and getting sacked to get out of fg range (when the obvious play is a run since you likely won't convert 3rd and 17 and a run will get you a few yards towards the fg), challenging that play and wasting a TO they needed.

but damn, basically marty is just cursed and brady/belicheck are just lucky. a muffed punt with no pressure for a fg, SD taking themselves out of fg range, an early tipped ball that was a gimme INT that SD somehow dropped (seriously, how do you drop that?), an INT that works to your advantage. if something can go right for NE, it will go right and they always win. at this point, i'm not even sure we should be giving brady or belicheck any credit for this whole NE run b/c it's obvious there's a higher power at work for them. all the **** that has worked in their favor over the years (including the unbelievably ridiculous tuck rule again saving golden boy brady from blowing a game with a turnover) just tells you they're a team of destiny. you just can't beat those teams when it's working for them.

I would have run it 3 times with LT on that last drive, esp on 2nd/4. But this game is on eric parker(who played like crap, not just the muff, but he dropped numerous passes) and marlon mccree for that fumbled pick.

Rivers only really poor decision was the swing pass to LT, but his WR's let him down badly. And why marty didn't trust his kicker from the 30 is beyond me.

The chargers lived in NE territory the whole 1st half, yet didn't score until either late 1st/early 2nd.

Once again Brady and Belichick come through. Braddy just makes the plays when it matters. Now we get Brady v. Manning III in the playoffs. Brady will show Manning who the best QB of the era is and Belichick will destroy Manning again, especially considering how badly Manning has played in the playoffs so far.

This is the crap I can't stand. He didn't do crap today to deserve to win that game. In fact he threw the pick when it mattered most and got one of the luckiest breaks ever to even get a second chance.

He drove them doen the field to tie the game, drove them down before halftime, and drove them down to win the game. He didn't play his usual mistake-free ball, but me made the plays to win the game, regardless of if he got the 2nd chance after a mistake.

    not to be rude
    but
didn't he have that last year
    and
his defense gave him the ball with over a minute
    left
and he could not move the ball 20 frickin yards to get the sure feildgoal

    Manning = Choker
