not a bad idea but because of health reasons i'm not allowed to drink alcohol... maybe ill just drink a lot of beer and then jump off of a plane.... that game ****ing ripped my heart out.
still not sure they're viable long-term in NOLA. they're living on subsidies right now. but this is a great story.
Max, I am just kidding because I know you're just telling it like it is. Caboose, just look forward to next year because there is a lot to look forward to and if you want to you can play the injury card because Lito was out and Shawn Andrews was hurt. The Andrews injury hurt the worst because his replacement had 2 BIG penalties including a false start that would've put the Eagles in field goal position on that last drive latein the 4th quarter. Then again they simply lost because the defense couldn't stop the running attack and that is something that Philly definitely needs to address this offseason through the draft and/or free agency. Next year though, Kearse should be back and he adds speed and containment although I don't know how good he'll be coming off a knee injury. McNabb will be back on offense and a lot of those young guys will have a season of experience under their belt. I just hope he doesn't come back too early. I am really looking forward to next season to see what the Eagles can do.
The Eagles still covered the spread... that's a win, as far as I'm concerned. This has been the best playoffs for me... 6-0 thus far, and the games should get easier to call as next week rolls around (not having to worry about how a team will look after a bye week is huge).
Seahwaks driving. So much for this vaunted Bears defense. I know they're missing Harris, but Alexander is just skipping through the middle like the Bears aren't even on the field.
I'd like the Bears to be in the Superbowl, but I don't trust Grossman to have a good enough game to make it competitive.
Great win for the Bears. Chicago needed that. Saints fans should be happy. I think the Bears are ripe for the picking and present an easier foe than the Seahawks.
the patriots are just blessed or something. they give up a first down pass, but the guy lets a patriot knock it away after having control. then gates looks like he might get a first down but the guy makes a great tackle. then they throw the biggest gift INT of all time and the charger somehow drops it right as it lands in his hands. i mean damn, handoffs to running backs are more difficult to handle than that interception. maybe SD can somehow win but these early signs don't make me optimistic.
I hate to jump on the blame the coach hysteria, but man what a complete idiot Schottenheimer is. SD could use the extra timeout had they not blown them earlier, especially in that stupid replay challenge. He should be cannned.
I'm not a fan of the Chargers, but I really wanted them to win this game... But now I get to completely go for the Colts next week I guess... Go Peyton! (But stop appearing in every commercial.)
