Yes I looked it up and you are right. This is, however, the first time the Colts have visited for a playoff game. The crowd won't be nutso violent like a Philly crowd, but they will give the Colts all they can handle. And...I think the Ravens will beat the Colts by a couple of touchdowns. The Baltimore defense will smother Indy's offense, especially if they play like they did against Kansas City.
Yes, I knew that this was the first playoff visit. I believe the Ravens defense will be too much for the Colts as well.
Saturday: Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints Sunday: Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears New England Patriots at San Diego Chargers
I really want to see Tony Dungy win but My mind is telling me no. I will still put my Perfect Record on the line. . and say . . THE COLTS I think the Saints beatthe Eagles I just think they are the better team . . ..SAINTS Bears Seahawks - Seahawks. . . Grossman will mess up Pats - Chargers hard to go against the pats. . . and i'm not sold on the chargers I hate the pats. . so I will go Chargers! Rocket RIver
just like he messed up those 13 wins they amassed this year, including a blow out of the seahawks? The Bears are a far better team than the Seahawks, no way they lose
Ravens Eagles Bears Chargers I'm really pulling for Marty and the Chargers. If he can't at least get to the AFC championship with this team, he may never get it done. He's had some great regular season teams over the years only to fall hard in the playoffs. All in all I think the Ravens will win the big one.
I don't understand where you are coming from. Yes, I am a Chargers season ticket holder, but when I look at this objectively, I don't know how you can possibly have New England as the favorite. The Chargers have been fairly dominant all season minus a few quarters, while the Pats really have not done much. They struggled against the Jets, and if you watched the game, it was WAAAY closer than the score ended up being. The Pats have had several decent games this season, but have also had their share of bad games and have looked unspectacular in many of their wins. I'm not saying the Chargers are absolutely going to win, but to say there is no way SD wins the game (especially when playing at home) is just crazy if you ask me. I believe NE is by far the worst team left in the AFC playoffs. That is not saying a lot though because everyone left in the AFC playoffs is a very good team. I just don't believe NE is quite as complete as SD or Baltimore, and I believe the offense can't measure up to Indy (although that would be a very close game). I think it will be a close game up to halftime, when the Chargers take over and go on to win 31-17 setting up the real Super Bowl matchup with the Ravens which will be a very close game that honestly could go either way, and will probably depend on how well Rivers and McNair play respectively.
You are probably right. SD has the better team. I shouldn't say they have no chance. They have a VERY good chance, being the better team and playing at home. But you can't discount the coaching factor. Belichick (sp?) has been there so many times and Marty has a pension for....well, choking in the playoffs. Don't get me wrong, I'm pulling for SD because I'm a big LT fan and I have some friends that live there. And I hate Boston. So, what is the overall fan opinion in SD about your chances this year? Are people pretty confident or are they saying Marty will choke again?
Let's say Marty does choke when so many expect him to win. Is there a new coaching vacancy in the NFL?
Yeah everyone here pretty much thinks they've already won the Super Bowl, but anyone who has watched the NFL should know about "Any Given Sunday" About Marty ... The turning point this season was the game At Baltimore early in the season where the Chargers basically sat on a 4 point lead the entire second half (AKA Martyball), and the Ravens score a late TD and win the game. After that game Marty was roasted and I believe he pretty much fully gave up control of the offensive playcalling to Cam Cameron and the Chargers have never looked back. I don't see any way that Marty goes back to that style of football in the playoffs. The Chargers have too many offensive weapons to do that. If the Chargers lose, I believe it is going to be because of mistakes by Rivers and not Martyball.
Titans fan here (NOT a VY bandwagon one, an Oilers one), so I'll be rooting for my boy Steve McNair to finally win it all!
