Marino never won a super bowl. Peyton just threw 49 touches and had a QB rating higher than Robert Downey Jr on a 747, He walks the walk.
Wow. What a crappy call by the officials. First of all, they let the Eagles challenge two rulings with ONE challenge. First if Parry was out of bounds when he fumbled, then if Claiborne was out of bounds when he recovered the ball. That is against the rules. Then they somehow determine that Chris Claiborne did not "reestablish" himself inbounds, despite the fact that he took THREE STEPS in bounds with the ball and then got KNOCKED out of bounds. Two gigantic mistakes by the officials.
Claireborn never got his left foot back in bounds before he touched the ball so technically he was still out of bounds. I'm not sure how the challenging works in that regard though. What an ignorant pass by McNabb at the end of the first half though. If they lose by three there will be hell to pay. GO EAGLES!!!
They were trying to pull the same play that the New England Patriots did several weeks ago. It looked to me like it was Moss' fault because either he got off the field when the ball was supposed to be coming to him or he just didn't know the play.
not sure it was his fault looked like he was walking off then looked at the sideline and then continued... surely it the staff have to make sure they all know
OK, they just announced that had moss stayed on the field there would've been 12 men out there so HE (Moss) did the correct thing.
what an effort by mitchell... too bad he fumbled the ball at the goaline and into the endzone... he got lucky on that first fumble recovery... looks like the tables have turned.
Then why didn't they consider the question of "possession" then? And it's still pretty ridiculous that a player is considered out of bounds until they get both feet back in, even if they have no part of their body out of bounds.
If that's the rule then that's the rule, I don't make them. Was that Tera Patrick in the booth with T.O.?
