    obviously the Falcons 2nd half in the super bowl will haunt him forever... but it’s chess vs checkers if you look at him play calling (not just play calling but entire strategy of how he wanted to set up his team to take advantage of what his QB is actually good at) vs Buttchin.

    I’m too old now to invest super super energy into fandom if the organizations themselves keep sabotaging themselves. Sure I’ll root for them. Hope they win. But can’t be that sad when they lose. Is whAt it is.

    Retooled?

    They went 6-10 in 2017, and 4-12 in 2018. No retooling here - they tanked for Bosa and prayed that Garoppolo would be a good QB.

    I hear you, but "retooled" isn't wrong if you include Jimmy G, plus a few other pretty good picks you can add to Bosa, AND then Richard freaking Sherman looks like a pretty good move too.

    Honestly thought Sherman would be a shell of himself, from his Seattle days. iirc, he came off an Achilles tear? Pretty cool that he's back to being good.

    The Packers over-achieved, plain and simple. Was supposed to be a retooling year.


    A-Rod can't beat the 9ners, to how Steve Young got bounced by Brett Favre.

    The Packers overachieved due to a weak schedule. They got to feast on the NFC Least and the AFC West. Their own division was also nothing to write home about. The Packers were known to be fraudulent contenders. In my mind the Saints were potentially still the best or 2nd best team in the NFC. Just didn't work out like that.

    This year's Super Bowl are the two best teams. How both KC and SF dismantled their opponents in the last two games show they aren't flukes.
