I think this year might be a season where he'll produce less. Give me AP (before the ACL/MCL), Rice, MJD, and Forte over Foster.

Foster producing less means our receivers are actually doing something for once. Getting rid of Jacoby Jones was addition by subtraction.

All those guys are close to each other anyways, not like there's a huge dropoff between those guys. (plus Mccoy)

Yeah, it's pretty even. I just like some of their running styles a little better than Foster's. Oh and yeah McCoy too, forgot about him.

yeah, I don't like arian foster's running style either. what is there to like about gliding 70 yards and juking defenders like they're in slow motion. this is the nfl not the matrix!

    (insert rolling eyes)

Are you just considering running the ball in you ranking or are you also considering receiving and pass blocking?

What I love is the patience and vision behind the line on those runs where he's almost jogging until the cutback lane opens up and then he just plants and takes off. His quickness and acceleration on those runs is really incredible.

Actually it's not. Arian Foster has the smoothest running style in the leauge. He always alludes the 'big hit.' Blocks and pass protects like a champ. And is deadly as a receiver.

I'll accept arguements for AP on account of his beastlyness, and MAYBE McCoy with his speed and shifyness. Possibly Ray Rice, but noooone other.

It doesn't appear he's considering any of those three areas......

Just running the ball. The list would be different for me if I took in all factors.

Yup, I guess I'm not according to you.

Some of you are acting way too sensitive to one person's opinion. I never said I didn't like Foster or his running style, I just said I would take those few guys over him. It's fine to think Foster is better than any of those guys, I just don't feel that way though. Sorry for being objective about it.

the ones I could put ahead of Foster, would be: Adrian Peterson and Ray Rice, MJD, is at the same level than Arian but there is no way Forte and McCoy are ahead of him.

So my top 6 for RBs:

    1. Adrian Peterson (before injury)
    2. Ray Rice
    3. Arian Foster
    4. Maurice Jones-Drew (I could put him no.3)
    5. Forte
    6. McCoy

Good, accurate article. Still, I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing, because the UPPER TIER QBs or close to upper tier QBs. All that's left are guys, like Tony Romo, Michael Vick, Philip Rivers, and Jay Cutler ... then younger guys likes Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford, Cam Newton, and the rookies.

At worst, the Texans have the 2nd to 3rd best shot in AFC of reaching the Super Bowl. Obviously, the Patriots are #1 again. It's going to be one team the Texans have to go through, if they want to reach that next plateau.
