I like what nfldraftcountdown.com says about him. Sounds like a good pick.

This draft is full on solid mid-round running backs and safties so I like the Caldwell pick.

like the pick, we need to draft a defensive back and a second receiver. DJ Moore from Vanderbilt, Rashad Johnson (S) from Alabama, Derrick Williams from Penn State (WR)

Im surprised DJ Moore is still on the board...hes got a first round grade on ESPN and ive seen him mostly going in the second. Hopefully he falls to the texans or we make an attempt to move up to grab him

I think his problem is his height. 5'8" is not "tall" enough for a db, I guess.

And for the other poster, why take Goodson when he is more like Slaton? They need a bigger RB.

What happens if Slaton gets hurt?

Yea i was thinking it was his heighth. Still, I think if he's there in the fourth i think we would get great value...he could excel as a nickel or dime back and apparently is dynamite in the return game which could give us another option in case Dropcoby Jones is let go

That's why you need a bigger back to take some of the burden off of him.

Also, Goodson has an attitude problem and do you think Sherman will ever give Kubiak a glowing review of the kid?

There a lot of good tight ends on the board right now like Shawn Nelson, Cornelius Ingram, Travis Beckum, James Casey, and Chase Coffman. I would take to one of them in the 4th or 5th round if they drop to backup OD.

Good point. Zero chance the Texans draft Goodson although I really him. Is there any doubt that the Texans will not draft Stephen McGee later today.

Personally, I wouldnt take a tight end until the 5th. Its not as much of a need position as secondary and the big back which hopefully as some of these prospects keep falling (DJ Moore, Andre Brown, Rashad Jennings) we may have a good group to pick from with our two picks in the fourth. With how our first picks have gone, I would not be shocked if we drafted James Casey though...another versatile guy that can play 3049304 positions

I really would have liked Rashad Johnson in the 4th but Caldwell isn't a bad pick.

    I agree with this pick.

McGee to Cowgirls is the best thing so far this day.
