Other than TDs, Gaffney had seasons that were just as good (or bad) as when he was in Houston. Career in Houston: 4 seasons 42.75 receptions/season 11.75 ypc 7 TDs Last 2 seasons in NE: 37 receptions/season 12.4 ypc 7 TDs For the first pick of the 2nd round, he sucks. It doesnt matter who his QB is, he will never be anything more than a #3 receiver...and if he is anything higher than that, the team must be in bad shape. I dont think this is a case of cashing in from Tom Brady as he did nothing in NE that he didnt do in Houston. We get Kevin Walter for 4 years/6.4 million. Denver gets Gaffney for 4 years/10 million. Houston > Denver
