Thought I would bump this due to the weekend upon us.

It seems like the momentum is all swinging Arizona's way in terms of people picking them and what not. I saw the line decreased from -4 to -1.5 in favor of Arizona and I would say there is a slight majority of analyst and sports commentators who have picked the Cardinals to win, especially on the heels of Westbrook announcing he re-aggravated the knee injury.

I got in at Cards +4. Can't bring myself to root for the Eagles even though at the begining of the season I predicted the Superbowl winner would be from the NFC East.

Good luck to your team and if they win I hope it's only by a field goal.

Cardinals by a TD... the Eagles have a lot of heart, but Arizona has a far superior offense and is playing at home. Unbelievable story, either way.

I will respond to this by saying that one could say that the Eagles have a far superior defense. The Cardinals defense has played well against teams that run the ball well and the Eagles do exactly the opposite. Arizona has ran the ball well too but that was against some of the worst run defenses in the league (25th and 20th) while the Eagles are much better (4th). Arizona has a great passing game but again, they faced the 20th and 16th ranked passing defenses, not the 3rd ranked.

There are a lot of variables in this game so it is impossible for me to come out and say the Eagles will manhandle the Cardinals like they did on Thanksgiving but you know who I am rooting for!

If Westbrook doesn't have an impact game, it's gonna be tough for the Eagles to win unless Arizona completely chokes. If Boldin is somehow able to play, that further helps the Cardinals' cause.

Right now I'm feeling better about Arizona. I'll chime in with a final prediction right before the game. It's hard to believe they made it this far. Their disgraceful self-cremation at home against the Vikings is still on my mind.

Westbrook didn't have an impact on the last game (Giants) stat-wise but him just being on the field, the defense has to account for him. If he is on the field, and it appears he will be, then he is already going to make an impact. He was nursing the same knee going into the Vikings game and had been bottled up all day. Then, one huge play later and the Vikings were doomed.

Anquan Boldin also played on Thanksgiving and he was healthy then but I don't like to look back at that game myself, I'm just saying...

I went 2-2 last week and for the playoffs I'm 4-4.

This is a toss-up. I can see it going either way. I'll pick the Eagles to win for no real reason.

    Eagles 29
    Cardinals 26
    2OT

McNabb walks off the field after the first overtime thinking the game ended in a tie. Kevin Kolb marches the Eagles down the field in the second overtime for the game-winning field goal.

Westbrook sounds pretty bad and as the games nears I'm getting more nervous. :(

I can't see a 9 win Cardinals team in the Superbowl.

    I just can't.

The Eagles at least have the chops. Other than Kurt Warner I can't think of a guy on the roster who has been to a big dance before.

I have been batting exactly .500 in all my NFL playoff predictions so far. So, one of my predictions will almost definitely be wrong.

In this game, I am picking the Eagles.

The Cardinals looked damn good in that first drive for a TD.

7-0 Cardinals lead with 9:20 left in the first quarter.

I really hate those Dodge trucks commercials. You would figure that Chrysler would learn that their marketing strategy isn't working yet they are still running the same over the top testosterone laced commercials.

Eagles get good field position and score a field goal. It's good that they scored but I don't think a bunch of field goals are going to be good enough to beat the Cardinals if they are able to move the ball like they did the first drive all day, in fact I know it won't be good enough.

    Man.

Nice Play. That was great. It was kind of predictable that he was going to toss it back.
