still, i'm glad he made it. he'd have to move to South Africa if he missed the 3rd kick.

Agreed. I wanted Favre to go for the story, but I'm happy with Eli going just cause he's earned it and proved himself (though he still needs to have a good full season to really prove himself)

    G-G-G-G-G-G-G-G-IANTS!

What an awesome game already looking forward to the Giants/Pats rematch.

Just off the bat I think the Giants have a legitimate shot at beating the Pats.

wow giants get a 2nd chance to stop history this season against the pats. Very interesting. Giants should be confident because they had a good chance in their last meet-up.

Actually, even though the Giants lost, I think that really was a game where Eli started to come of age.

Minus the manning interception, the game was a draw, and manning hasn't thrown an interception all postseason. I think it will be a close game, and the pats will not cover the spread.

Hit it right on the nail. That game gave him confidence going into the playoffs.

Props to the Giants. Also big props to Eli. I still don't think highly of him but he is doing what he needs to do to win, and limiting his mistakes unlike his brother in big games.

NE is going to mash them though. I am not a huge Patriots fan but I am excited about getting to see history being made....

    Classic game.

I really like this Giants team. I think they have a legit shot versus the patriots. 10 straight road games is awfully impressive.

    New York Versus Boston

This is going to be one hyped Suoer Bowl

What a great game. I was hoping to see the Packers in the SB but half way through it, I couldn't help but hope the Giants pull it out.

I'm tempted to bet on the game.

If the spread is larger than 7.5, I might bet on the Giants.

8-2 on my playoff picks posted here on the bbs.

Glad to finally not have to hear about Brett Favre great season I knew the Giants would find a way to pull out the W.

I wonder how Tiki Barber is feeling right about now?

The Giants rookie running back (forgot his name) had a couple great runs. One in late 4th and one in OT. But the play that game them the game winning field goal was the Interception.

I told my son it would be a short OT and that Favre would either throw a long TD pass or an INT.

One delicious thing about this is jerkhead Tiki Barber. "Mr. Giant" himself retires and then blames Coughlin for driving him out and blasts Eli Manning for not being a leader and not having the respect of his teammates. I wonder what Mr. Mouthful has to say now after the two guys he threw under the bus lead their team to the Super Bowl without him. The Giants should send him a thank you note for retiring.

Totally agree. I'm sure the Pats would have rather faced the Packers than NY. This is probably the one team in the post-season that they DIDN'T want to face. NY has a lot of momentum (not quite as much as New England, but still a lot) and you just know they'll want to make up for Week 17.

    Anyone know the spread yet?
