You can get Zeller from Boston for a mid second rounder (value wise). He's expiring can't get time is in the doghouse and they will have like 4-5 rookies coming next season.
Pretty sure he's referring to Nene here and not Enes. I heard a rumor about Nene during preseason. He's unhappy coming off the bench in Washington. And he's from Houston.
Yeah they tried to get rid of him this summer but couldn't find any taker. Now he's expiring I think but he costs 13 mil to match. And Was wants clean books for next year Durant they can't take on the shackle of Brew or Bev. (I thought he was Brazilian?) Anyway if it IS nene then things might get even more complicated because Whittman is in the hot seat and the whole situation can postpone things a lot.
The more I think about it with the Wizards, they are not going to want to take on long term salary if they are saving up for a run at KD. Rockets would have to make it a 3 way or send back an expiring like Lawson.
Possibly a knee jerk reaction after the Philli game, but I'd rather us having stuck with a PG rotation of Bev, Canan and Terry. Far more hustle and defense than what we're seeing currently with Lawson.
He wasn't all that good in the minutes he got, but I attribute some of that to rust, he's played less than 30 minutes this month even with the time he got last night. I hope they stick with him because even not being great last night he was better than Corey Brewer.
Really? Who else are you planning on giving them then? I thought we were talking about a trade of Meyers for Jones straight up.
Washington just signed Ryan Hollins and waived Martell Webster. They now have 6 power bigs on their roster: Gortat, Nene, Khump, Gooden, Blair, and Hollins. Plus Dudley who is really a stretch-4. They have 2 point guards: Wall and Sessions They have 2 shooting guards: Beal and Neal. And they've got Otto Porter, Garrett Temple, Alan Anderson, and Kelly Oubre at the 3. Garrett Temple has been pressed into their rotation at the 3. But he's really a 1/2. Alan Anderson has been injured and hasn't played a minute. And Oubre is a raw rookie playing mop-up. Wizards are ripe for a big for a swingman trade or a multi-player deal sending out a big and possibly Temple and Neal for better options at the 2/3 slots.
