We need a nasty Taj Gibson type (should be available) and a versatile 6'6"-6'7" wing who can shoot and defend (a Wilson Chandler type, but he's obv out for the year). Say we gave up TJ, Dekker and Brewer (and maybe a 2nd) for Taj Gibson and Jae Crowder in a 3-way deal... Dwight/Capela D-Mo/Taj/Harrell Ariza/Crowder/KJ Harden/Thornton Bev/Lawson/Terry We could actually drop some lineups with Harden as the ball-handler with Crowder and Ariza, which would hide him on D and not lose much on O. Taj could matchup much better against guys too quick for D-Mo or too skilled for TJ (plus he can rebound).
The most concerning thing about Codman's message was that of Dmo not being even close to ready. Maybe those All-Star break rumors weren't to far fetched...
Glad you are doing well Cod! As for the teams that might be potential trading partners. .. Yuck. Short of Bradley Beal coming back I wouldn't give up Ariza, let alone all of our SFs. There is just nothing appeasing about those teams and players.
Doubt Casspi is involved..they love him there... I'm sure Washington wants Trevor back. Officially, DMo has a check up on Dec 1, which should clear him for practice. So yeah, he's not coming back Dec 1, but it's sooner rather than later. Probably mid to late Dec with minutes restriction, unless there is a set back, of course.
