Eberflus is a big interview. I think it says a lot. He's high on Deshaun's list I believe and he initially declined. The fact that he decided to interview after being talked to again, makes me think that Watson may have talked to him.

He's my number one choice. We need a defensive coach, and he has consistently found and coached up mid round talent. Also, keeping Tim Kelly would be huge towards appeasing Watson.

They don’t need an offensive genius to try and “change” Deshaun or make him into something else. A defensive focused head coach makes the most sense and let Deshaun run the offense with whoever he prefers.

Eberflus started getting worried after other HC vacancies started getting filled. He wants to be a HC, even if it means it's with the Texans.

Yep. This is why I've preferred Eberflus.

Let's hope so. Someone asked Deshaun about the conversation with Eberflus after the colts game and the media guy alerted him saying that Eberflus could be his next coach..Watson was all smiles then.

Watson wanted to interview Saleh, literally every team did due diligent... did we not go for the man bc of religion? Cause if we eliminated Saleh solely cause of religion, bad optics.

Like idk y we didn't even offer an interview when Watson was pushing for it, probably cause easterby said no.

If we can land Matt E. That would be huge in getting this team back on track.

Would benefit Eberflus simply due to not having to have his defense dissected twice a year by Watson again... even though they were the only team that somehow found a way to sack him again and again and again.

Curious if @Whenitsover has heard anything on the Eberflus interview and if Watson has had any involvement with the franchise in recent days?

Well that settles it - we didn't do enough "due diligent". How stupid of us! Just go ahead and let our 25 year old QB choose his boss. The man just led us to a 4-12 record, he has earned it!

we aren't the stupid one, u are by the way u are defending this sht owner.

Watson lost his best receiver, has no defense, oline is in shamble and is still able to keep us competitive. Post godlike stats.

u seem to b the dumbass fan who just looks at the record without understanding the whole story. Sure give up watson and he will go win a ring on any competent team. Watson isn't sum random 25 year old bum throwing a tantrum, he's the fking franchise qb we been waiting on for years.

but instead of listening to the one player keeping our franchise relevant, the owner is listening to this religious dude, maybe praying will make his franchise better. dumbass fans always have to blindly defend everything.

Imagine defending the sht owner who chooses religion over winning in sports. What a special fan u are.

Fun Fact: he posts less when nobody responds to him.

i just hate people blindly defending the front office. U don't have to kiss the feet of a franchise qb, but how in the fking world are u suppose to win anything if u can't even appease one?

Choosing religion over winning as an owner of a sport team, how the fk are u gonna recruit anyone that's serious in winning? Pray for a miracle?

In terribly windy conditions. If ever there was a time to run, that would have been it! Says a lot.

Might have something to do with what the Ravens are doing on defense. Might. Maybe, maybe no.
