I wouldn't mind him coming in to coach the linebackers but other than that he can stay where he is. Wade's defenses are only good for one year
Todd Bowles and Raheem Morris could be intriguing options if they don’t land head coaching jobs and if the new ATL coach cleans house. Don’t want any more Romeo and damn sure not Matt Patricia
Whoever this person is must be around who I hear my tidbits cause I woke up to this. From what I understand Brady was one of the guys Deshaun had on his list, but also Easterbunny fell in love with Joe during the interview process.
“Might be Jets or bust for Saleh.” ...with Eric Bieniemy possible not getting hired (again). So much for these hot, “can’t miss”, head-coaching prospects. (But W for 49ers/Chiefs if they stay)
you're going to have a hard time convincing the more disillusioned fans that the highest pick of the draft should be an interior offensive lineman and the whole list seems underwhelming to me.
wow. great. at least they will have scapegoats to sacrifice for a few years - right about the time Deshauns contract is up the defense might be average.
My hope would be Glenn would be able to help some of the young talented corners we have. Then address pass rush anyway possible.
While I commend the job Morris did to close out the year that defense had way more talent on it than this one does and Im not sold on him as a defensive playcaller. Why would Bowles depart Tampa for Houston if not for a head coaching job? He would enjoy more success where he is at in the same role. Not sure Bowles while intriguing to me is even a realistic option for THIS team. I may be in the Gus Bradley, Marvin Lewis or even Lovie Smith camp if Joe Brady is the guy.
Not a huge fan of the list either, but I don’t have a problem addressing interior Oline. If we don’t protect Deshaun and create some kind of run game, he’s not going to last.
If you go with 31 year old Joe Brady as coach you better have a DC with coaching experience and preferably one who has skins on the wall IMO. The offense will be fine - with Brady it might be electric, but if the defense isnt priority #1 next year is over before it began.
I would be on board with a vet head coach taking over defense. Just to give Brady some support. Bowles would be nice but we don’t have the personnel to run what he runs.
