I thought Denver had traded their allotment of 1st rd. picks for awhile. What is it, 5 years down the road? At any rate I am VERRRY glad it wasn't us who paid that price! LET'S GO DeMECO!!!
Alright! So we've "got it on wax" as they say! Neither the Broncos or the (anti-Texans) media will be able to spin it that Denver got their top choice all along! Man I bet that hurts! (having to say the Texans WON something/anything!)
Out of all the available coaches that can salvage Wilson's career, Payton is the right coach. Haha, he better be the answer with all that lost draft capital.
....According to Schefter, the Saints had their pick of two trade packages from the Broncos. Package A: The Broncos give a 2023 first-round pick and a 2024 second-round pick for Payton and the Saints’ 2024 third-round pick Package B: Denver gives their 2024 first-round pick and a 2023 fourth-round pick for Payton. According to Schefter, the Saints chose package A. Glad it wasn't us! Report: What the Broncos are giving up to acquire Sean Payton from the Saints (atozsports.com)
Also here, saying Denver didnt have any interest in Payton LOL Allbright isnt a credible source in most things
I like it. Not sure how good he will be, but feeling way more confident about him than the last two hires.
My immense Madden knowledge tells me that Package A is worth quite a bit more than Package B. And thank the good Lord we didn't have to give up that kind of capital. But truth be told, if our roster looked like theirs, I probably wouldn't mind it nearly as much.
Dude, you're basically going full circle... how can ownership about not having enough money to cover salaries and the cap associated to such salaries, if they run the franchise down to the ground and become the laughing stock of the league? They got themselves into this situation and NOW is the time to be frugal?... stupid..... and apparently a non-issue since they signed their man yesterday. You were making an issue out of a non-issue, like I said.
