I hear from my sources that nobody knows what the Texans are doing but be assured whenever they make their decision the public we will be disappointed. Welcome to Houston your new head coach Tim Kelly. As bad as that sounds I'd rather have Kelly over Frazier.

If Eberflus was the choice, it would have already been announced. The only reason to wait is because the Texans' choice is a coach for the Bills or the Chiefs.

I'm pretty sure we will know after that game. Since there is 2 weeks between the Champ. games and the Superbowl, the coach can be announced next week.

I would guess Eberflus is likely plan B in case plan A (Bieniemy or Frazier) turns them down. Or, I suppose this could happen, make the Super Bowl and the Texans opt not to wait another two weeks.

    Why?
Frazier is damn good coach. It could be that Tim Kelly would be the OC to appease Watson.

Christian Ponder and Joe Webb as your QBs. Hard to win with those 2.

    We should know next week.

If the Chiefs win and the Texans don't announce hiring, it's Eric Bienemy
If the Bills win and the Texans don't announcing hiring, it's Frazier
Or, the Texans announce it's Eberflus

Either way, the Texans action or inaction will be a telltale sign.

They don't have to wait til after the SuperBowl to announce. Bills and Chiefs will probably give permission next week. It will probably be next week.

Read up on him. If you're going on memory then tell me what makes him a good head coach? A retread who is awful at in game adjustments, lost a ton of games when he was ahead, and has his own history with bad challenge attempts. A quick glance at those guys who filled out his staff with the Vikings just leaves you uninspired.

What makes him the best candidate? He's just running McDermotts defense up there he didn't install anything new himself.

It should be either Eric Bienemy or Joe Brady. Guys who can offer something proven or something brand new. Not a retread with a losing record at that.

So Frazier as HC and a no name like Colts QB coach Marcus Brady as OC??? YUCK!

Kelly would be lucky to stay on as a QB coach with Frazier.
