Halo getting trashed and roasted in its demo footage is probably the best thing that ever happened to it.

 

So disappointed in the last one. I played MC collection strictly for halo 1 but in hindsight I purchased a new console to play a game from 15 years ago . Not gonna fool me again

 

Am I crazy? There was only 1 good Halo game.

 

Both Halo Reach and Halo 5 deserve some gawdam respek on their name... Yall better quiet down. I will agree that the demo getting trashed and cyberpunks horrible release has been a blessing for 343 studios though.

Campaign and multiplayer

people hated halo 5 campaign but the multiplayer was significantly the best
All crazy vehicles and weapons

 

FWIW, I had the widely-reported button-sticking issue with my PS5 controller for awhile on the X button specifically, which thankfully just kinda... went away on its own after like a week?
But now I'm having the issue this guy's describing which I had been assuming was some kinda spring failure. Ironically I had turned off adaptive trigger mode in things like Warframe for example because I worried it seemed like it would put a lot of stress on the triggers, but even having taken that step, there is almost no resistance left on my right trigger at all. I get accidental presses of it just from kinda resting my finger there.
I just ordered another since it'll be nice to have a 2nd controller anyhow, and will plan to send this first one away for repair once it arrives.

It honestly shocks me a bit that both the PS5 controller and the recent-ish Elite Controller both have/had such big quality control problems. Both have amazing ergonomics but both failed on me very quickly. Compared to say, standard PS3 controllers, that was a very long-lived system and I only ever had one failure, same with standard 360 controllers. I think I never had a PS4 controller failure. But these supposedly much more premium controllers go ahead and fail super-fast. What the heck? The new features and ergonomics are cool and all, but I'd rather have reliability if I have to choose.

 

Maybe I’ll just buy all the systems

Some Xbox series X showed up in restock for target and I placed an order for picked. about an hour later they were saying they were sorry but there none available for pickup. why did you let me put a damn order in then ??? im so annoyed

 

PS5 is the first console where I'm actually impressed how nice it compares to PC gaming.

Load times are no longer an issue. Graphical fidelity is not bad. PS5 exclusives are great. PS4 backwards compat is great (playing Ghost of Tsushima right now).

I can't say the same about Xbox One S and the Xbox One X I had last console gen. That thing collected dust and it was just a glorified 4K UHD player for me.

 

I have an LG OLED w/HDR (2018 model) , booted up my One X and played RDR 2 for a bit.

Honestly forgot how good it looks. I guess its also fair to include im an amatuer gamer.

 

There is a massive restock about to drop at Target for PS5s and Xbox Series X. It will happen in the next day or so (maybe overnight). @tinman

BTW...I watched PS5s go for $750 and $775 on EBAY today. Xbox Series X was went for $640 and $670. The Scalper's market seems to have collapsed.
