NEXT GEN Gaming Console, PS5 and Xbox Series X news/upates

Xbox Series S/X emulation is top notch. Playing games from Sony, Nintendo, and Sega.

 

Seems the framerates are still iffy, if they work this out I might buy one just for retro gaming.

I saw the mock S at best buy, it's a really cool looking system and it's super compact.

Which one?
First one is absolutely legendary, 2nd I haven't played but it's supposedly a bit worse.
Third (Inquisition) is good, but a lot of fetch quests similar to MMOs.

 

They got all of them on game pass so I didn’t know which one to try out

 

The first is one of the best RPGs of all time, you should definitely give it a try.
Also had a lot of reply value due to different paths and races.

 

I game on PC and have to recognize how good this hardware is for the MSRP— though paying the “true price” charged at secondary markets lowers that value substantially.

I’ve been messing around with used PC hardware and was able to assemble a PC with the following specs for about $600 (admittedly, I got exceptionally good deals on a couple of these parts— so, not like one can buy them off the shelf any more than one can just walk into a store and easily pick up a PS5)

(The case/power supply/motherboard are from a Dell T5820 workstation).

 

9 - full of bugs, i'm sure they'll send out some patches

 

Any OLED TV recommendations for the new consoles? In the market currently

 

Between the bugs and the negative pr about their responses to crunch and social issues, I think I'll just wait a while before diving into the game. A shame since I was pretty much on board with this since...*checks wikipedia*... 8 years ago! Geez.

 

LG BX or CX will do just fine.

 

I have it preordered but I’ll probably wait a while to play it. I have other games to keep me busy while I wait for patches.

 

they said there will be a day one patch

 

I'll have to wait and digest things later, but I'm thinking the patch won't be fixing the biggest issues with the game and the company.
