5-2 Wednesday, Jan 10 8:30 p.m. Lakers -Revenge. Win. Friday, Jan 12 10:30 p.m. @Nuggets -Win Saturday, Jan 13 10:00 p.m. @Kings -Win Tuesday, Jan 16 8:30 p.m. @Mavericks -Sadly, we aren't their match right now. Loss. Wednesday, Jan 17 8:30 p.m. Suns -Defense prevails over offense. Win Saturday, Jan 20 8:30 p.m. Nuggets -Win Wednesday, Jan 24 9:00 p.m. @Spurs -Revenge for them. Loss
Depends on how Tracy is feeling. If he can pull the 'score literally all the points in one quarter for my team' sort of thing like he did against the Bulls yesterday and basically continue his tear of late, I'd say 5-2 or 6-1 is realistic.
Lakers -> We win, here at home. Fakers don't have anyone who can rebound with us, TMac and Kobe in a shootout, Kobe scores more, but Houston's overall quality of talent is better, we win. @ Nugz -> We win again. When does Melo come back for them anyway? @ Kings -> What do they have left? Artest and Bibby? Bibby may light us up, but our defense has been playing so well lately, we win again. 3 in a row. @ Mavs -> We'll be hot and coming off 2 days rest, on a 9-2 tear. Mavs are hot too, but by then Snyder will be back and will handle Stack defensively, TMac dogs Dirk, Deke dominates the paint, and Luther lights them up. We win big in Dallas. Suns -> Here's the big letdown. The NBA has gifted several opponents with the Rox on the tail-end of b2b's, and they come in here and thrash us, we lose this one by about 25. Nugz again -> 2 more days rest, we take out our frustrations on the Nugz again. Bonzi comes back in a big way, contributes off the bench, we win again. @ Spurs -> Toss-up. We come off 3 days rest, still on a very good roll, and put up a good fight. However, without Yao, the Spurs are just too much at home. We lose a tight one. So, seven games, we go 5 - 2. That wouldn't be too bad would it? _/O^O\_
Five wins. I don't see why not, really. This team has totally surpassed my expectations lately. And we should be getting Bonzi back soon (in time for the Spurs game, hopefully...).
i think we should get through with at LEAST 2 wins over the nuggets. lakers, sacramento are 50/50. mavs and spurs will be tough..i know im leaving one out =(
With this Rox team you never know .. they might blow out the Suns, mavs, and Spurs but lose to the Nugs and Kings
for some reason, i think our defense will hold. 7-0 baby!! and we prove to the world we are contenders, period.
I'm not disagreeing with you or anything, but it's funny that people aren't killing you for even making this statement, considering how they killed the guy who made the "we can with without yao" thread. I'm surprised nobody's called you a YOH yet.
I also think it depends on when we get Snyder back. He'll probably be a little rusty on the offense, but his defense will be a great help against some of these elite teams! If he comes back soon I say we go 4-3.
Bomzi will be out for this stretch of games. Our best chance to win games is the first half of the stretch. I would be happy with 3-4. Tomorrow's night game could set the tone for the rest of the games. LEt's take it one at a time and try to beat the Lakers first
i feel alot will hinge on this game against the lakers.....if we win it will be 4-3 or mabyee even 5-2 but if we loose ......i think it could be as bad as 2-5......we will find out soon enough....T-MAC IS BALLIN THOUGH!!
Wow....your such a great homer. 4-3 sounds right, if T-Mac can continue his nice play but 5-2 would be be great.
If we win the game vs Lakers, we will win at least another three: Nuggets twice and Kings. So 4-3, it's good enough. But we still have the possibility to win Suns if we try to take them follow our rhythm. Mavs and Spurs are tougher, Deke and Hayes are good defensive players, but they are horrible at the offense end, and both the M and S team have lots of good shooters. I hope Rafer make his FG at least above 40%, or shoot less than 10, or we will easily killed. 3-4 is acceptable, 4-3 is damn good and kinda realistic, 5-2 is fantastic, and if 6-1 or 7-0, OMG!
7 wins baby! WHOO! I'm feeling good about our schedule! Realistically though...lose to Dallas and split nuggets...Lakers 50-50 win, kings win, suns win, spurs 50-50 win. So... ~4 wins.
