True, I still have that as a win and either OKC / Dallas. Spurs I think we cannot win both (my original statement said lose) and might win one but I doubt it. One game at a time though, you should never look at it like this. If you look at these game by game, look at the rest between games, their performance coming in, a lot can change in your opinion so staying positive. Let's just win tonight and see where it goes!!
I'm actually happy the schedule is nasty. Lets the team know where they are and where they need to be in the playoffs. Great chemistry building exercises.
False. You are right that Portland would be guaranteed the 4th due to being division winners, but if the 5th seed they're playing has a better record than them, then that 5th seeded team will have home court in the series. Winning the division only guarantees them a top 4 seed, NOT home court. That being said, lets just win em all and make this discussion moot.
It's not at New Orleans. Also, we get a couple of nights off and SA will be on a second night of a B2B when we're at SA. 4-1. 5-0 with the right bounces.
4th seed isn't being a realist. That's simply being negative. We don't have a snug lead over 4th seed but things would have to absolutely not go our way
Great players love challenges. The Rockets will either roll into the playoffs or limp into the playoffs. It is up to them. We don't play. Show us what you got! TJ is beasting and when is DMo coming back? Smith and Brewer were no shows last night, they are due. Priggy is getting into a grove. Ready for some big games from Howard and how about some more Capella?
L @ Dallas W @ OKC L @ SAS W vs SAS W vs NOLA Im hoping for at least 3-2 but expecting 2-3. I'm preparing for the yearly end of season collapse that the Rockets just love to go on every season. Hope this year is different. Fingers crossed..
This will be how our final 7 games for the season play out: April 2 Rockets @ Mavs April 5 Rockets @ OKC April 8 Rockets @ Spurs April 10 Rockets vs Spurs April 12 Rockets vs NOP April 13 Rockets @ Hornets April 15 Rockets vs Jazz
Beat the Mavs (Dwight rested). Beat OKC minus Ibaka, Durant. Split Spurs games. Split NOP/Hornets back to back Win vs Utah 5-2 Memphis Split OKC/Washington back to back Beat New Orleans Beat Utah Lose @ LAC Lose @ GSW Beat Indiana 4-3 That's my best attempt at a non-Rockets bias guess. LAC won't rest their players against Memphis, but GSW might. Harden might rest vs Utah. Keep in mind that by next Wednesday (@ SAS), the Rockets will likely be at full strength for the first time since the beginning of the season (minus Bev of course). We have not seen what this team is capable of when they have 4 legitimate bigs in the rotation (Howard, DMO, TJones, Smith). Imagine current Chicago (Noah, Gasol, Gibson, Mirotic) but with the 2011 version of Derrick Rose.....that's what I think this team will be. Hopefully they can gel quickly.
Among 2-6, the Rockets have the least chance to be at the 4th, considering Portland being the Northwest division leader and now tied with LAC and SAS at 26 losses each. More likely 2nd, 3rd, or losing home court at 5th or 6th. If the Rockets can at least split with SAS for the two games, I'll bet on Rockets having home court.
