Not quite sure honestly. I've seen some of their (Jags) games, and they're not a bad team at all. I like David Garrard . Besides, the Jags beat Indianapolis at home which Indy only lost because of poor defense.

I'm just counting on end of season motivation pushing this team to get a 2nd win in Nashville. Plus, this teams seems to rally after bad losses which I predict the Ravens will give us, so that's why a sweep of the Titans.

as long as this team has gary kubiak coaching it they will never win a superbowl.

he's lucky our expectations are relatively low.

I know the Jets look intimidating, but they are very beatable. All 4 of these games are winnable, but they're all very losable as well. I'm most concerned with the Titans, honestly, since VY and Britt apparently practiced a little bit this offseason.

As is the case with every game, it's all about gameplan and execution. We have the talent on the team to win all 4 of these, but after last night's showing, I have absolutely no faith in our coaching staff's gameplanning.

    I say we go 1-3.

"taking care of business at home" just means we'll lose.

We're 6-6 at home in the last 2 years. 4 of those wins were last year against Sea, Oak, a 3-point win against....SF (LOL) and a meaningless win against NE.

This year, we gave the cowboys their only win of the season.

This team is only good enough to have a chance at every game, they arnt good enough to doominate and expect to win any game, my bet......8-8, no playoffs

Took the words out of my mouth. No sense worrying about if a coach is good enough to win a super bowl if he can't even get you into the playoffs.

    This.

I would not be surprise if the Texans went 4-0 or 0-4.

I just can't put faith into this team to show up and give us a B game each week. Playoff teams don't repeatedly throw away games with D level showings, but that's something Kubiak just isn't in a hurry to fix. It's okay to have a practice field intensity on Sunday with McNair and Kubiak holding you accountable.

I don't hold the Giants game against them, since that might have been a loss even with a solid effort.

The Dallas game, however, was unacceptable, inexcusable, and indefensible. It was a microcosm of the Kubiak era, a great explanation for anyone wondering why we missed the playoffs last year.

I've mentioned it before, but our division record in the past 3 seasons is 4-14 (now 5-15), with us never earning more than 2 wins in a single year. Besides history, division games are almost always a bear, even when they look lopsided on paper. It's the "playing ball against your brother/best friend" scenario - no one knows you better or how to frustrate you better. Jax may be awful this year, but checking off two wins against them is optimistic.

In the absolute best scenario, I could see us managing 10-6 (losses @Titans, @ NYJ, and either @PHI or BAL).

    In the worst case scenario?
    6-10
(swept by Titans, split with Jags, losses to NYJ, BAL, Phi, SD)

At this point I'm expecting a 7 or 8 win season. I fully expect at least one or two more mind-numbing diarrhea games.

It's negative of me, but I think the Dallas turd bomb followed by last night's loss has knocked us out of the wild card hunt.

    for now...i agree

Theres a real chance the Texans can go 3-1 over the next 4 and climb right back in the hunt

Maybe Im biased but I think that Jets game is the only game that is one you have to chalk up as a loss. They can beat SD and Tenn at home (they are as good or better than both)...and they SHOULD beat Jax

Looking past those 4 games, it seems almost imperative to go 3-1 or better seeing as how games @ Tenn and vs Balt (which at that point could potentially be a HUGE game in terms of tiebreakers) loom

Talent wise .. . they were better than the Colts.
The colts had 2 maybe 3 advantages: QB, D-Line and maybe Coach

    Their QB >> Schaub

    We'll beat Jacksonville.

We are capable of beating San Diego (likely) and Tennessee (less likely).

The Jets will obliterate our offensive line.

    I'd say 2-2, fingers crossed for 3-1.

No one gives Indy's coach any credit for anything . . . . it is all Peyton all the time.

    QB edge Colts
    RB edge Hou
WR/TE edge Colts....Andre is the best of the bunch, but on the whole, Indy has a better crew (and the loss of Clark didnt hurt them nearly as much as most expected)
    OL edge Colts
    DL edge Colts
DB even (even tho Indy had a pick 6 so this is generous)
    LB maybe slight edge Hou?
    ST = even
    Coaching edge Colts

Are their receivers better. . .or was they system receivers working within the system and with the QB.
Who was their Tight End last nite? He was better than Daniels and Dresseen?

Isn't their O-line busted up too. Again I am wonder if they just have a better system . . or at least a better coached on. They been together forever . . oops. . I forgot Duane Brown . . u win.

Their DB's - imo mediocre. Helped by a strong Dline.
That pick 6 was good Dline - Bad Decision and Bad throw

Didn't see anything special about either special teams. They have the better kicked. . . but that is based on Venetarie's history.

The colts have a coach???? I thought it was all Peyton all the time *grin*

OD and Dreesen had 1 catch for 8 yds combined

Tamme had 6 for 60 and a TD

well i guess hip bone connected to the thigh bone.....and so on...so their D overall is better/more talented....at least it seemed that way last night...
