Yes, it will be exactly like having two players that play the same position, where only one can get on the field at a time.

Quoted for weird. I mean good weird. I actually think the 1981 Rockets (lost to the Celtics in the finals) could beat next year's Miami team, even if it included Lebron. 1994 Rockets for sure.

I'm confident Ledrama is going to Cleveland, but he's planting all these reports to drive up the hype, which is really... gross.

hey basso, what is the mood in New York about all this? I can't imagine fans there giving this the time of day. But seriously, what do you hear?

Miami is going to have to give up Toronto's first rounder to move Beasley. And they appear unwilling to do that. Toronto wants their first rounder back to do a S&T for Bosh, but they don't want Beasley. Hmmmm, an expiring contract for Beasley and Toronto's first rounder, so Miami can sign Lebron. I would think Morey may be interested in that.

I pray to God that this doesn't happen otherwise Lord knows STEPHEN A SMITH (!!!!!!) will never shut up. He's retracted his "report" twice already ("a monkey wrench has been thrown into the situation") but now has been yapping nonestop and bragging about how he was right all along now

That is interesting, but with the new cap figure, does Miami have to move Beasley to fit LeBron in? And let's say that Miami does move Beasley in order to fit LeBron in. Haven't they just created one more spot that will have to be filled by a minimum salary contract?

The league doesn't have parity now. LA is the favorite to go to their 4th Finals in a row and they haven't had a serious challenge from the West in the last 3 seasons. Boston just went to 2 of the last 3 Finals. Orlando has been to one and made the Conf Finals last year, and seem to be the strongest team in the East currently (them or Boston). Parity has been gone in the league for quite a while now.

I hope he goes to Miami because they could possibly get some cheap ring-chasers and give LA a run for their money. LeBron and Wade are both willing passers, so I think it can work with all 3. Either way, it's not like they have to win the title next year if they get together. Any franchise, even an expansion one, would be happy to start off with this trifcta and build around it.

As long as he stays out of NY I'm satisfied.

lol miami will give up a first to get lebron. and there is no freaking reason why toronto wouldn't take on an expiring contract if a huge TE and first rounder was packaged with it. why do reporters even report this stuff?

If he leaves that will prove he is the biggest fraud in sports. He plays within an hour of his hometown. There isn't a city in America that can give him the love and affection that he receives there. If I was a professional athlete and I had a chance to play in my hometown I don't think I could leave unless they didn't want me anymore.

    Lebron James:

I have made my decision, couple of my closest friends play in Miami, but not for me, I need to be the star of the team.

NY, Amare made it tempting, but I'm gonna have to pass, I don't feel we have the support cast to win.

NJ, sorry JayZ, you know your my boy and all, but I can't see myself joining a team that was awful as you guys were last year.

Chi town, sorry again, MJ is the greatest and I changed my #23 for a reason, because there won't be another MJ ever, and I'm not gonna disrespect him by trying to take over his legacy.

Clippers: Love to be rivals with Kobe but lets face it, he's a beast and pretty damn scary to compete against I dont' want to put that kind of pressure against myself.

So my final decision, "drum roll please" is to join, the HOUSTON ROCKETS!

last night i had a dream that i saw Franchise and Cuttino and I told them trading them for T-mac was a mistake. We all 3 became best friends. If that isnt a sign that Lebron is coming to Houston then I dont know what is.

i've been out of town all week (in nashville now) so haven't really paid that close attention. i know some guys w/in MSG Network, and they're pretty desperate to get LeBron, although until recently they've been under some sort of gag order about discussing their desires too openly.

honestly, the big news this week has been the heat, which has been oppressing, and i think even King James could help with that.

we need the crazed sex poodle to pay us a visit so it cools off.
