PDcavsinsider Numerous people who have talked to #LeBron or Maverick Carter in last 24 hours say it is the Heat. But until LeBron says it himself...
When Lebron came out of High School... i didnt respect him till he proved that he was worthy for all of the attention he was getting. If he signs with the Heat, i'll lose that respect that i had gained for him. The only way i can respect a player like Lebron is if he signs with NJ, NY, or CLE. He has a chance to start his own legacy. If he goes to MIA... i sure as hope that i will never have to hear the "Kobe vs Lebron" debate. And i he should NEVER be mentioned in the same categories as Magic, Bird, MJ, Kobe, Robertson, Dr. J, etc.
If James does not choose New York, a league source tells Yahoo! Sports that the Golden State Warriors will acquire forward David Lee(notes) from the Knicks in a sign-and-trade deal in exchange for forward Anthony Randolph(notes), forward-center Ronny Turiaf(notes) and guard Kelenna Azubuike(notes). Lee will get a five-year, $75 million contract in the process. This deal has already gone down right? NY thrown in the towel hopefully. This whole situation is just crazy, I sat in on two difference conference calls today and both conversations started with "So where do you think Lebron is going?" I hope he goes to Miami, they should be fun to watch and as long as NY doesn't get him it's all good.
Anybody got any clue at which point of "The Decision" LeBron's actually supposed to announce? I can't figure out if it is going to be right near the start and they do reaction for the rest of the hour, or another hour of the same BS from all day and he announces at the very end, then we have the next 72 hours of Sportscenter for reaction coverage.
I'd prefer he stay in CLE or go to Chicago. One of my best friends is a Bulls fan, so I'd be happy for him.
Haha. Not sure. Yesterday it was he would make his decision in the first 10 minutes of the show. Today, I heard/saw that that wasnt the case. Also ESPN said he will call the 6 teams and notify them of his decision before going on air so it could perhaps leak out.
See the thing is that if LeBron signs with Miami, it's probably just as bad as him signing with NY. Our picks won't matter because the Heat would win the next 7 championships
If NY gets that package for Lee(which fills up most of their capspace) and Lebron stays in Cleveland, that would be a SWEET offseason for the Rockets. Time for some more lottery picks from the Knicks in the future.
KBerg_CBS #NBA team exec just texted, "Everyone I've talked to in the last 10 minutes says -- it's MIA." sportsguy33 I still say Miami. That's my final answer, Regis.
I'll stick with Miami but NY wouldn't shock me. This will make my class actually interesting tonight.
It's gotta be NY Miami - Even if he wins a championship, the legacy is not as great Chicago - Wants to get out of Jordan's shadow, why go to Chicago? NJ - Brooklyn is in 2 years. Maybe the next contract Cleveland - Far away from a championship, and it's Cleveland NY - Amare is there. Win a championship there, the legacy is still in tact.
If LeBron announces he's coming to the Rockets, other posters on this forum will profess homosexual acts to Daryl Morey.
