Maybe they want to flip him for Ridnour from T-Wolves? Amare allegedly pushed for signing Ridnour to the Knicks in FA. He supposedly thought of him as "Steve Nash light" or something along those lines.
give the nuggets a couple of picks. our new line-up Lowery/Smith Martin/Lee/Williams Chandler/Battier/Jefferies Scola/Patterson/Randolph Nene/Hill/Miller Knicks line-up: Felton/Brooks Feilds/Douglas Melo/Williams Stat Turiaf/Mozgov Nuggets line-up: Billups/Lawson Affalo/Smith Gallinari/Budinger Martin/Harrington Andersen
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4trl3xk sorry posted the wrong link this 1 would work
Well with this 3-way talk between Den-NY-Minny we might be able to dump Brooks+Bud+Hill+YAO and pry away Randolph and NeNe. The Knicks might want to take JJ back as well. Maybe we can agree to a dodgy deal like the Raptors and Dallas - how Peja got bought out and joined the Mavs.
Aaron Brooks for Anthony Randolph straight up! no reason to have any other player involved.. I know it creates more of a log jam at PF and SF, with AR playing those two position, but with all of our expiring contracts there's definitely going to be room next year and beyond, which is probably what Morey's looking at....
Well, NY initially wanted a pick for Randolph. So why not give them the pick for Randolh and Brooks for Chandler? Works out financially as well.
Three Way Trade Houston Trades: Aaron Brooks and Jared Jeffries Houston Receives: Danny Granger and Bill Walker New York Trades: Bill Walker and Wilson Chandler New York Receives: Aaron Brooks and Solomon Jones Indiana Trades: Danny Granger and Solomon Jones Indiana Receives: Jared Jeffries and Wilson Chandler Houston is able to get rid of Aaron Brooks while picking up a rising star in Danny Granger and a solid role player in Bill Walker New York is able to grab Brooks and they pick up a solid big man in Jones Indiana gets rid of Grangers huge contract while picking up a slightly less talented Chandler with a much smaller contract
I dont know if giving Indiana expirings is going to work b/c they cant lure any good free agents. What would pry Granger from them would most likely be young, cheap assets with an expiring as a filler but not the main part of the deal. (See: Hill, Lee or Budinger) Them resigning Wilson Chandler might potentially put them in a similar situation that they are in with the Granger contract now.
we need to package players, shorten the lineup and find some upgrades rather than sidegrades, i was hoping we could have shipped brooks, battier/jeffries and maybe bud or hill for wallace when jordan was exploring his value, unfortunately crash has remembered he's one of the best sf's in the nba in breaking even with lebron and beating pierce in 2 of his last 3 games, oh well.
