http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4uv32jf Also our first round pick to Denver 2nd rounder from LAC to Minny We get Rubio
I meant trade him for anything as in I hate on him now and he shouldn't be in the rotation because he brings negative energy to this team. Stick him at the end of the bench and look for trades, don't play him anymore.
Getting Nene out of a deal for just AB would have me extatic no doubt! but... Would this really make us a better team? He would move to center and slide the Chuckwagon to the bench.. It does not get much better than Chuck's post D IMO and its not like Nene is that good of a shot blocker. And with the way Chuck's improving O has been going, Im not sure its much of an upgrade..
We already have a "project" big in Hill.. Why would we go after Randolph.. I see no reason to do this
Please provide evidence that Anthony Randolph is a knucklehead. Here is a post that is more well-informed than you are about AR that says he has no attitude problems: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=5931809&postcount=513
Lol. U guys have no understanding where the rockets are talent wise, and how we match up against the powerhouse teams in the playoffs. Without Brooks, there's absolutely no chance in hell we do anything in the playoffs. He's the CLEAR alpha on this team who's not afraid to hit big shots. Kevin Martin can NOT carry us in pressure situations. Brooks is alot more valuable than y'all give credit floor. PS. Brooks will eventually start hitting his shot, hopefully he'll find it before the rockets foolishly trade him
With Raymond Felton entrenched into the starting PG spot, I really don't see New York as being too aggressive in their pursuit of Brooks. He's unhappy being a backup in Houston; odds are he will be unhappy being a backup in New York. That said, if they are interested, I'd take a long look at Wilson Chandler. With Battier expiring, he could be our SF replacement for the future. Yes, he's a RFA this coming summer -- but so is Aaron Brooks. We were prepared to keep Brooks for the remainder of the year and deal with his RFA; why should Chandler be that different? Chandler is an athletic SF that can defend multiple positions and score in different ways. He's a good rebounder at the SF position and would bring much more athleticism to the table over Battier.
Does anyone else see this as a perfect opportunity to move Brooks + Jeffries for Nene and become a 3rd team getting Melo from the Nuggets? Brooks to Knicks Jefferies to Nuggets Harrington to Knicks. We have the expiring contract that would help facilitate a Melo trade + we can get Nene
Brooks will start hitting his shot and recapturing his Mojo; hopefully before DM the GM is foolishly pushed into a trade of him... So, if ABO must go just sell high. He is that valuable.
Brooks is so much more valuable than Randolph and so much more valuable to other teams than the Knicks. Not gonna happen.
I will give you some props for admitting Brooks is having a mental meltdown. Now, can we agree that Aldeman shouldn't play him anymore until he recovers from it?
