    The problem isn't really bad drivers, say as in drivers who lack a pertinent driver skill set, it's drivers who neglect, even if only for a moment, to focus or anticipate. I think an argument could be made that driving faster could engender more attention from drivers, although it's hard to argue it makes the roads safer.

    Okay, but the overwhelming majority of the cars on the road don't. My point still stands.
