Wtf seriously. I agree its a damn shame a normal acting and looking 19 yo did this to his life and hurt others but this dude is DIRECTLY responsible for killing and MURDERING FOUR innocent people who were someones kid, someones daughter, someones brother, someones only child and could have KILLED many more. We always tend to forget about the REAL victims here. Like everyone else i would love to understand his motive but his motive or reasoning does not justify his actions and his actions were murdering INNOCENT people. He deserves the death penalty in my opinion. Nothing less

 

We know for a fact that the FBI actively helps terrorists conceive terror plots ...

Anyone think this could be a false flag operation? It has all the markings of one.

All the arm chair psychologists trying to say why he did what he did based on "what they see here" need to pipe down. None of us know this kid, let alone examined him in a session. Nobody on this board has any way of explaining his situation, his rationality, his reliance on his brother, etc. Just because he's 19 and the younger brother doesn't mean you can create that narrative.

For all we know he is was just a dumb teenage radical who coaxed his older brother into doing this.

I can understand being 19 and being brainwashed into thinking you can attack government as a way to do good for others. Maybe even a business.

But there's no way in hell a 19 year old kid doesn't know it's wrong to blow up innocent people at a marathon. Even kids with disabilities know that and it doesn't look like he was mentally ill to the point of not knowing right from wrong or what is reality. Perhaps his brother was the influencing force, but that's no excuse.

As for his older brother, it sounds like this guy was just a really good guy, who couldn't deal with the bad things in this country, and got so fed up he somehow rationalized causing harm as a solution of some sort.

I'd be really surprised if the younger brother influenced the older brother. His brother had a boxing career, a wife, and a kid. He had much more to live for. Give all that up to help your fresh-out-of-high school kid brother blow **** up?

Also, in the video, the older brother is walking ahead of the younger brother. He's basically leading the way. You don't walk that far behind someone, if you're the one with the plan. Sure, they could have planned to walk like that, but even then, the 'leader' goes first.

 

Do you even know what a false flag operation is? I didn't say the suspects aren't guilty.

It was crazy. I went to sleep early Thursday night around 8, and I just so happened to wake up around midnight and thought I would take a look at my iPad and jump on the bbs. I saw the MIT shooting thread and was intrigued because of what happened on Monday. I jumped on twitter and reddit to see what they were saying and that's when it all broke. I didn't sleep the rest of the night and didn't fall asleep yesterday until we had him. I fell asleep like a baby once I heard we had him.
