    Fox says they'd checked the boat/house before, but now the homeowner saw a shed door open, they found bloody clothes, police rechecked...shots.

    They shot the cop while he was in his car parked right? So clearly the cop had not identified them.

    I still don't buy that they figured let the guy go thinking it didn't matter. Perhaps they were looking for a car chase? I don't know.

    NBC switched to an audio feed, i guess of a local reporter, and the person(s) on the other end didnt know they were on the air, so you hear a guy say something like "oh, what you're not listening to it, yea we don't know shhhhhiii-" and they cut the feed.

    Fox again, police got a report 15-20m ago, woman said they checked my boat, but now there's blood there, shed door open...police came back.
