According to the OP, that is the neighbor's dog. I'm pretty fing sure that cat has dominated that dog before

And I'm not protecting the dog here, but if that cat had a territorial thng going on with that neighbor dog for awhile, and that cat had got the better of the dog .... That dog might have viewed the kid as cat property that he wanted to fick up

I think the cat is to blame and the dog is tormented.

So the dog is an irredeemable coward...? Can't take on the cat, take it out on his property...?

    tsk tsk....

For a second there I thought you arguing in the dog's favor...

Your dog is beautiful haha! She looks like she just jumped into the stream behind her and is full of regret.

The cat story is nice. As an owner of two cats, I can say that they're like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to adopt, because they each have their own personalities. You can't train them to do enjoy this or to do that. I have one cat that is more of a dog (Plays fetch, likes to roam outside, very protective) and another cat that is just like any other cat (Affectionate, clingy, etc). That said, I'd probably still take them over a dog. I love dogs, but dogs are just a lot more necessary work that I don't currently have time for, such as cleaning/letting them out to poop, walking them, etc. Cats take care of themselves aside from the company and attention that every owner should obviously give to their pets.

Do you not have a litter box? Way harder than letting a dog inside and out (assuming you have a fenced in yard).

Even If you're dog is obident, you should keep him on a leash for safety reasons. Your dog may be cool, but he can still get hit by a car or attacked by another dog. Other peoples dogs may not be as friendly so they might run into problems when they are walking their dog and a dog roaming free comes to greet them.

Its like even if you were the greatest car driver in the world, you can still get into an accident because of $hitty or drunk drivers. For me, I think dog parks or an open park in general is the best place for a dog to animal out lol

Yeah she's a schweetie from Monte Beach park in the Heights. A five month old stray who walked up to me and my (since passed) 14 yr old boxer mix looking for a pack.

You said she looks "full of regret". No that's not her look. That look with ears down is her in full content waiting for her next stick. The look with ears down is what Caesar Milan talks about. The opposite of being in the red zone

I really got lucky with her at the time my very calm, boxer mix was getting old so she learned to be calm too

But I also had two cats at the time too. I love cats. But my crazy cat would torment Beta the stray puppy. b****.

    Haha

So beta eventually took out all her pent up frustration with cats on the mountain lion. And three cops cars and 5 park rangers had to come save the mountain lion out of a tree on a Sunday afternoon

    Ears down lion down

I do. But I'd rather clean up feces in a contained area every day than be forced to watch my steps in my backyard (where we frequently garden, sit, relax) due to dog waste. Unless you managed to train your dog to poop in one spot in your entire backyard, than kudos to you.

My pet rabbit bit off half of my right index finger when I was 2 years old. 2 skin grafts and multiple (failed) surgeries to try and re-attach. That cute little bunny you have is a blood thirsty killer.

And yes I'm serious (posted about it on here previously).

Never understand why things about cats always have dog lovers coming in to start arguments? When I moved in with my partner she had 2 cats and I had 2 dogs, don't have a problem with either. Both cool in their own ways.

What I don't get is why tf the mom ran back in the house and left the kid on the ground cryingwith big ass gashes in his leg.

She should be put down for mot supervising her son outside and then ditching him when wounded.

She still shouldn't have left him. He was traumatized, scared, and hurt. The boy actually got up and started running in panic, if the bite was any worse he could have injured himself further.

First thing I woulda done; pick up my boy, get him inside, have his mother tend to him, then proceed to beat the **** outta that dog.
