not to mention luther head was shooting lights out before he hit the rookie wall. Just hopefully he could keep that up for an entire year this time.

that's pretty good stuff, but he also had 8 fouls. he's going to have to learn how to stay out of foul trouble if he wants to be able to contribute on a regular basis. but it is just one summer league game, so i hope he keeps the pace (minus the fouls) up.

There are similar but they Carroll is a wing player and Novak is a frontcourt player. CD said we need shooting so don't be surprised to see Carroll as a invitee to camp.

Thanks! Looks like JL III is on his way back into Rox line up for next year.

Two things I am not happy about Novak though are his RB (5) and FT (0)...

5 boards isn't bad. The 8 fouls worries me a little. Based on the minutes played it seems Novak spent most of his time at the 3. It looks like they went with a lineup of:
    Lucas
    Carroll
    Novak
    Hayes
    Baxter

Darius Washington didn't play. I think he will play tomorrow. Tom Thibodeau likely wants to give everybody a equal chance.

Hmm... those stats seem a bit off unless Novak had 8 PF's. :( :(

However the shooting does not surprise me, Novak is an excellent shooter, over 50 percent from behind the arc last year and as is one of my favorite things to point out, lit up Rudy Gay for 41 points on 12-20 shooting 11 for 11 from the FT line.

Also I love Chuck Hayes line. Sure he only had 9 rebounds but the Rockets team only had 29 so Novak and Hayes had half of our rebounds.

All and all a good showing considering this is the summer league.
