    This is absolutely hilarious to me. Microsoft released a twitter A.I. named "Tay" that's supposed to engage in casual and playful conversations with real people and is supposed to get smarter the more you talk with it. Within hours this chatbot has turned into a racist, inflammatory know-it-all that insults people.

    So, the AI, much like us are shaped by its environment right? Well, that's the social world we live in. This AI, targeted to a relatively young demo, is racist and makes ignorant statements. Sounds like it was spot on to me.

    I envisioned the eventual AI takeover as sort quiet and efficient killing machines.

    It would be hard for me to imagine a terminator robot hunting me down while saying snarky racist trash talk.
