New York State AG Leticia James has filed a civil fraud lawsuit against Trump

With Citizens' United you'll never see that come to fruition. Hell even without that dark money flowing to candidates I'd say as Trump's attorney recently phrased it...it's a practical impossibility.

After watching an hour on CNN I learned the fine isn't extremely rare but the bond to appeal is unprecedented. I do think the timing of all of these trials will be trumps undoing. Winning the presidency won't be easy as I think biden will surge at some point this year.

Letitia James is turning New York's legal system into South Africa. This is evil and totally destructive to the view of America's legal system and property rights. It's wrong any way you look at it -- using a novel legal theory to strip a former President of his wealth for a fake crime that had no victims. The bank testified that they did not even rely on Trump's estimates of the valuation of the properties. She campaigned on doing this, which alone is abhorrent.

We will witness the long term collapse of the New York economy if this is allowed to proceed. No reasonable businessman will want to subject themselves to this political persecution if they have a choice.
